Had a wonderful time at the spa coffee shop today. Despite being really busy with afternoon teas, both Vicki and Collette went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable table and we were served promptly. We love going when these two are working as they make a superb team and the coffee shop runs like clock work. They are always pleasant and find time to ensure everything is perfect for all the guests Thank you Rookery.

Clean corporate type hotel. Attentive staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Mini bar supplied tonic but no bottle opener. Plenty of hot water and room temperature was just right. Lounge bar service was good. Food was expected to be better than it was unfortunately. Produce cooked and presented well but cold and served on cold plates. Expensive for what it was. Spa area very busy and not that comfortable. The beds that were available were hard and not conducive to relaxing. Cafe in the Spa small and difficult to get a table as most reserved, presumably day guests. For comfort more areas where one can relax, comfy armchairs etc. Was OK but would not be on the top of my list of places to return to for a luxury break

Excellent Stay
We had a wonderful stay for my wife’s 60th birthday. Great room, service and attention to detail. All the staff are very helpful. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant and enjoyed the fabulous spa facilities. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again

From start to finish our staff experience was superb ! These guys are on the ball with their customer focus. This was my third Spa day at Rookery Hall and as the previous ones certainly did not disappoint . My friend who joined me is well travelled & experienced in Soas and hotels, she was impressed and delighted with a perfect day . From delicious food to superb treatments with experienced considerate therapists . Great facilities and for me the staff cannot be rated high enough . In the modern world of automated systems and technology Rookery Hall and the team are an absolute tonic . I am looking forward to booking a dinner there soon . Excellent and well appointed accommodation and with first rate food at every meal. But my praise is for the staff. They were clearly well trained, smiling, efficient and engaging with a real understanding as to what their jobs entailed - making the stay even more enjoyable.
