Hotel Kansai is definitely a hotel that deserves more praises. 

It is located just 10min walk from Higashi Umeda station. Though the room was small, it was well equipped. Guests can self help to yukata, combs, razors, additional bathing items and also coffee & cold fruity water at the lobby. The washing machine and dryer worked well and charges were affordable.

Though most of the front desk hotel staff weren’t fully conversational in English, they were very polite, patient and tried their utmost effort to assist. 

Given the friendly room rates, Hotel Kansai provides  very wide range and sumptuous breakfast. I stayed for two consecutive nights and the breakfast menu changed but remained as awesome.

The hotel is located next to the Daikokucho Subway Station, one stop from Nankai Namba Station, and the transportation is convenient. The reception staff at the hotel's front desk were warm and friendly, and patiently explained everything. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with complete facilities and no peculiar smell. You can take a bath on the second floor, which is good. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast with a rich variety. It also provides fish and rolls, and you can make your own rice rolls. It is recommended to book a room with breakfast included. It is very cost-effective. If you buy breakfast separately, it is a bit expensive (1,800 yen, 2,000 yen plus tax). The accommodation experience was very good. I will stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

I was happy with the welcome sweets and welcome drink! I was also happy that I could borrow a hair iron and there was a large public bath! I used it for a live performance at Kyocera Dome, and it was within walking distance, so it was great!

It is not far from Nara JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but Kintetsu Station is relatively closer. I checked in during my birthday. I informed the hotel in advance and received a handwritten card and a bag of konpeito when I checked in. There is no need to clean up and there are free cans of sparkling wine or barley tea. I added a Japanese dinner, and when I was almost done with the meal, the restaurant staff also brought free small cakes with candles and fruit platters, which was very touching.
The rooms are all sliding doors, with a tatami area, which is very large and clean. There are free white pajamas to change every day. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas, and there are two hair dryers.
There is free coffee and matcha milk on the first floor. You can mix your own sparkling wine before 21 o'clock in the evening, and the souvenir shop is also open before 22 o'clock to buy some specialties.
There is a free 1-hour walking tour of Nara street buildings at 7 o'clock on weekends. Just inform the hotel in advance to make an appointment.
There is a non-hot spring hot spring bath on the basement floor, but I didn't experience it due to the itinerary.
The breakfast is a buffet of Japanese scenic spots. The egg rolls are delicious, and the fruit is as good as cantaloupe.
A very pleasant stay experience

If you drive, it is very convenient, and there is free parking; if you take the bus, it is a 15-minute walk from the nearest railway station, and there is also a bus to Nara Park, only 100 feet. There is a bath, the bath is very comfortable, the living is comfortable, the room is large, and the breakfast is delicious.
