We have visited the IOW for over 20 years and have never been here before. I surprised my wife with a lunch and spa deal. The lunch in the brasserie looked and tasted superb. The service was very good with friendly and attentive staff. We left stuffed and satisfied. We then went for 3 hours in the spa. Again the lady on the spa reception was lovely and helpful. The spa was great with everything in working order. A good choice of saunas and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. It was very tranquil and we left refreshed and vitalised. We will definitely be visiting again if not just for lunch.

Booked a suite for my wife’s 50th birthday celebration but very expensive for what we got. OK but could be so much better if they did some updates! Suite was a bit tired in decoration, very old TVs, chipped sinks, toilet could do with a major clean and shower cubicle external base needs better cleaning. Around the lounge ceiling lights show that the ceiling really needs a new coat of paint! Evening meal was delayed to 8:00pm start due to wedding reception, very limited options on the menu and nothing like that shown in the room hotel information folder. Also noticed some fire doors were wedged open!

Very dated hotel in lovely location.
On arrival we were not expected and it took 20 minutes for very nice night porter to work out what to do with us.
Spa treatments were ok. Spa itself very disappointing. Hot tub could fit maximum 3 people same as indoor jacuzzi, both at looking like 20 years old. Steam room didn’t have very steam on and was cold with dirty seats and floor.
This hotel is**** due to its facilities Like swimming pool and spa but not due to the standard. It is max **.
Breakfast on first day was freshly cooked and nice. However if you do not like cooked breakfast there was nothing but toast and jams and 2 joghurts.
On second day cooked breakfast was in the form of buffet with was cold, soggy and putting customers off.
For frequent travellers this place will be huge disappointment as traveller would expect different standard at **** establishment.

Bel hôtel situé dans un joli cadre avec le lac. Les chambres sont spacieuses, de même que la salle de petit-déjeuner et restauration qui offre une très belle vue sur le parc et le lac. Le spa est aussi un plus bien appréciable. Enfin le personnel est très sympathique.

Held a surprise 50th here for my husband. Fantastic night, great service from the moment I booked through to the breakfast the morning after . Such a high professional standard of hospitality , a big thank you to Jess, Jill, the bar staff, DJ Paul and of course Khalid, thank you for checking in and helping with all the finishing touches The facilities and overall experience were excellent. Thank you so much for making all of the party guests stay so memorable. Highly recommend this venue for a healthy mix of fun, quality and relaxation Thanks again, we will back again 😀

Very tired hotel. The furniture in our room was worn as were the carpets, we had a view of the grey car park which was uninspiring. The outdoor areas are in a terrible state of disrepair, broken fences, grey un-maintained patio areas, shabby lawns with weeds, and bird mess over outdoor furniture. The fruit option at breakfast was particularly poor, they had cut up pieces of oranges in their skin and piled them in a bowl next to some very dry pineapple, no fruit yoghurts, just plain so if you don't want a cooked breakfast it's bleak. I asked for a latte and was told that they charge extra for anything other than filter coffee. The 'relaxing spa' was full of children jumping and splashing around and there are very few beds/seats to sit on. The pool is tiny. This didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. People were cooking in their rooms, it felt like a youth hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful, I get the impression they are doing their best to prop up an ill-maintained hotel which has definitely seen better days. It was an underwhelming experience and not worth the money, I shan't return.

We recently stayed over at the Lakeside Park hotel for a little weekend getaway. We stayed in the Mallard which was a beautiful room with the view of the lake including our own patio. I’ve never felt more relaxed—the spa facilities were incredible, and the included breakfast was delicious! We’ll definitely be back soon! Solène & Matt

We recently indulged in the afternoon tea and spa package at lakeside hotel and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The afternoon tea was a highlight of our visit.the food was equally delightful—delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, and an array of exquisite cakes . The spa facilities are top-notch. The environment is tranquil and soothing, perfect for unwinding. We opted for a massage, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The spa also features a variety of other amenities, including a sauna, steam room, and relaxation lounge, all impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. We highly recommend the afternoon tea and spa package ,It’s the perfect way to treat yourself or a loved one. We can’t wait to return!
