Called in drinks after our usual local run at Fishbourne. been there two times this year & yet we never noticed you now had to get a parking permit. This morning I received a parking penalty of £60 or £100 if not paid within 14 days. This should be a visible reminder on tables as with menus & when you visit the bar to order anything! Just another way of trying to trick people into paying for parking even if they purchase drinks or food on the property!! Another customer lost☹️

Had small cod and triple cooked chips with peas with coke and bread £19.80 rip off cod over cooked chips still hard and un palatable peas dry totally disaster never eat here again avoid like the plague

We went for an evening meal with friends and ordered the lasagne and steak pies. Both were served and were cold !! We sent them back and the pies were reheated. The lasagne came back and this time it was frozen in the middle!!! They took it off the bill but very disappointed ☹️ as I recommended this pub!! We will not be eating here again!!!

Husband daughter and myself stayed 3 nights. 7-10. Loved the location. Could watch the ferries come and go. Breakfast was excellent as well as the food in the evening. Could go out for days and come back to designated parking. Definitely want to come back next year, maybe for longer.

Went for a Sunday Roast. Potatoes were inedible. The seasonal veg of Parsnips, carrots and red cabbage was undercooked. The best thing was the cauliflower cheese which came at an additional cost. Pigs in blankets looked and tasted like they had only been shown the oven and taken straight out.The lager was undrinkable. Very disappointed as had booked months ago and was looking forward to it. Could not wait to get away from their sticky tables.

We visited last night for an evening meal, service was friendly and welcoming and the food served hot well presented and was on the table in minutes. It felt like the places has it together, we've had some bad dining experiences on the Island recently and we're pleased to finaly get it right. Well done.

My husband was given a birthday gift card for the two of us for afternoon tea. After reading so many bad reviews we were very wary about going. SO glad we did. Food and service were excellent, staff friendly and efficient and no problem with parking. All clearly signed to tell you to enter registration at the bar on arrival. We really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend a visit.

My daughter and I visited for Sunday evening meal on 11/05/2025. Staff were very friendly and happy to look after us. We had the sausage and mash and liver and bacon (which they kindly added peas to). Both were delicious and we both came away with happy full tummies. Would definitely recommend and return
