Traveling all day towards home. About 10pm or so we drove by the Sands Inn and stopped for a much needed rest before the last miles to home. Office closed had to ring a bell. A woman came and talked to me through a window. Price was reasonable even though we wouldn't be staying a full 24hrs. But the room was nice. Pet friendly. Room was clean with 2 queen beds. Not much literature in room about area but we weren't staying long. Only part we didn't like was the air conditioner though it cooled the room it made a very loud noise and rattled etc all night. All in all if we come that way again we would stop again. Hotels were hard to locate in the area because the city was so dark and not much street lights. But we got a few hours rest before getting back home

I was in a room without a heater and hot for 2 days and 2 nights. I addressed the issues the the very 5 mins upon arrival and was told we'll get our maintenance to fix. I'd ask to change rooms but the front was rude and refuse to change rooms. Finally on day two maintenance said they would finally change me rooms. Only reason i stay because we were sharing a company vehicle. Never again.

Well, I hate this but the key didn't work in my first room. Then they only gave one key to the second room. The sink had hot water but not the bath, no light bulbs, and no breakfast. The sheets were marvelous, but there was a mysterious wet spot on the carpet.
