Woodstock Inn was beautiful and was nicely equipped to handle our mobility challenged son, who used both his walker and his wheelchair on this trip. Our room had a cute little built-in twin bed that was perfect for him and we appreciated the ramp and easy access to elevators. His favorite was the game room, where we played a lot of shuffleboard and pool. The pool was small and a little chilly, but had great poolside service. The location was walkable to restaurants and shopping. Our only regret was not pre-booking a visit at the falconry, but we had a great morning at the nearby Billings Farm (which was accessible). Front desk staff and bartenders were 10/10.

Wnt for a wedding past wekend. The wedding was great. The hotel was VERY BAD. Old..Nothing worked. Showers smelled. Everyone was complaining. The front desk manager was really bad. Did not do anything. Many people very upset. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL

The Woodstock Inn is such a well kept New England Inn. The grounds are so beautiful with the flowers strategically place around for your viewing! The staff is wonderful! You are greeted as soon as you walk up the stairs to the entrance! (we were greeted by Mark). Having a nice dinner at the newly updated Richardson Tavern was special! The waitstaff of Thomas and Karen and bartender Caleb make your dinning experience special! The chef's are so creative in preparing your meal. We started with the appetizer Charded Cabbage, picture worthy and such a great flavor! The Quail on a bed of barbeque lentils was delicious! You must save room for desert, the Peach Compress was light and the presentation was beautiful! If your looking to be pampered by all means visit the Woodstock Inn!

Main inn is really very nice. The Tavern section is very tired. Very much a letdown. Try for the main inn when booking rooms. I'm not sure if they'll are ascwirn out as the tavern rooms, but at least you are in the main inn building.

I own a travel agency so I took a road trip visiting all the best hotels hikes biking museums restaurants starting in Boston to Newport RI !! This was such a special place I could stay longer next time & try more of the activities & menu items at their amazing restaurant. I love the service & decor! The beds are very comfortable & self parking is easy. Perfectly located in the heart of town it’s by far the best hotel in Woodstock.

A little disappointed that everything closed by 10pm on a Saturday night, even with a wedding on site. Certainly won’t be coming back again.

We've been travelling to the inn for 15 years now and our experience continues to be outstanding. Our tavern wing suite was quiet and extremely comfortable and breakfasts at The Red Rooster were delicious. We ate at Richardson's Tavern twice. The food was yummy our first evening, a cheese plate for an appetizer and we split a pasta dinner. Our second visit was disappointing as the pork chop was undercooked (and was taken off the bill) and our drinks weren't well made. We think they're likely working out the kinks with their new menu. I enjoyed a facial at their beautiful spa and also joined a yoga class (included in the price of our stay) which was perfectly Zen! The property is just gorgeous and we look forward to another stay soon!

I would say my experience here was average. The Inn itself was equivalent to other historic B&Bs in the area with more amenities (spa and access to the athletic club). The spa had really incredible massage therapists (that was the only service I received so I can’t speak to more than that) and the space was lovely. They have an agreement with the athletic club so that you can take a class for free. We did yoga which always is a wonderful experience but I did feel the studio room was very warm. Back at the inn, I would recommend you avoid eating at the tavern restaurant as the food was terrible. I had bucatini which was basically soupy noodles. We had the cheese plate as well and there wasn’t enough distinction in the cheeses to make it worthwhile and although the lavish was tasty, it was so flaky it could not hold up to the weight of the cheese. Also the dessert options were so underwhelming that we left without any. If you eat at the inn go to The Red Rooster, the food and experience was much better. Overall, my rating is due to the exorbitant price that you pay for a generally average experience. Do yourself a favor and stay in a smaller B&B and spend your money at the Spa at the Woodstock Inn.

This trip to the Woodstock Inn was a bucket list trip. So far the stay has been pretty disappointing. Had issues with the spa and making dinner reservations. Voiced my issues to the manager on duty and was told I’d get a call that afternoon. Never did, stopped by the front desk again and was told that my concerns were passed on to someone else. This is a highly rated hotel and so far our stay has not gone well. Will never come back at this time.
