Hampton Inn Woodbridge

I had a great stay at this hotel with my son. The staff was very friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. It is conveniently located to everything. I only stayed one night and I parked my car at check-in and didn’t move it till check-out. I felt safe here and I would definitely book and stay here again.

The last time I reviewed this hotel it was not so favorable. Having decided to give it another try since I was in the area and several years removed from last stay, I found it much improved. It appears that some rehab was done since I was there last, and the rooms were more modern and comfortable. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member. With use of the Digital Key I was able to park in the back away from the noise of the bar, and used the back door near the elevators. My only visit to the front desk was to get my obligatory bottle of water. I had comfortable night of sleep. TV, WiFi worked fine. Bathroom had plenty counter space. It remains that this hotel is in a very convenient location if driving, and only a couple miles from Metropark train station.

Candice at check-in greeted us very warmly, though it was quite late at night. Sure wish it were required for staff to wear name tags. The room was nice, though even solid wooden doors looked ravaged by many guests. The speedy elevator was down a long tiled-floor hallway, which meant the absence of dirty carpeting. The lobby was nicely and brightly lit and felt very spacious. Breakfast was okay, though missing any fresh fruit. Note to management, check the breakfast area to fix tables that wobble.

the stay was ok . we were told at check-in there was 100.00 deposit. when we went to check-out we were told system was down. were told it would be e-mailed to us. Never got e-mail Got statment from bank and full amount was on bill. Tried for 2 days to get information from Hampton but again told system was down. Finally talked to someone .Was told 262.00 was right. YOU better get statement before you pay. looked like scam will NOT stay again

We stayed at this location for one night , had a party near this location. Hotel employe at check in was professional and polite. He welcomed us as Diamond members, snacks and waters were issued. Hotel had lots of restaurants to choose from , plenty of parking. The room was clean , Ac was nice and cold . Breakfast in the morning was ok , waffle batter was empty, wasn’t filled up while we were eating, but they had plenty of other items . Breakfast room was nice , not so many guests made it even better. Will return if needed.

Shortly after check in, we noticed the bathroom door handle was broken/falling apart, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the tub coating was peeling all over. We let the front desk know so we wouldn't be charged for these damages. Housekeeping has for sure noticed the issues in that bathroom on multiple occasions, yet no repairs were ever made. This shows the management here doesn't care about maintaining their establishment. Wifi also wasn't working during our stay. This place also had the smallest breakfast seating area I've ever seen in a Hampton Inn. Good luck eating breakfast especially if you have a large family or small children. Definitely not worth the ~$200 a night we paid.

Over the years I have come to expect a minimum standard from the Hampton hotel chain. I prefer them over others whenever possible. They are well managed, clean, quiet and serve very good breakfast. However, this Hampton does not cross the high bar at all. As soon as we entered, it felt very noisy and dirty. There was a convention card lovers. A thick smell greeted us as we unlocked the smallish room. Although I got a prior email that my phone will act as my key, it did not happen. I had to show up to the reception to get a key. The lady there did not even mention the breakfast hours which is customary. BTW, if you do miss the breakfast in case you get up late, you have not missed much at all. They carry the minimum items of any Hampton I have stayed. There is a Longhorn joined to the property though. The bed is quite hard and will not suit at all if you are a plush mattress lover. Parking should be ok. The noise from US 9 where it is located does not help either. But you cannot take a U turn or left turn to drive in from the opposite lane. There is another Hampton located about 10 minutes away on the same highway, looked nicer, try that, maybe you’ll have better luck.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament for a long weekend. Staff was rude and unhelpful. The advertised pool was closed. They told us we could not rent a conference room because they were all in use, yet they all had vacancy signs out. My bathroom was dirty with hair all over shower wall. I asked twice to have it cleaned, yet it was never properly cleaned.

Nic welcome at the front desk. Nice size room. Had fridge and microwave. Comfortable beds. We had a problem with the shades. Tried to put them down. Got stuck and we had to change rooms. And then it almost happened again in the new room. Pool was closed. Nice fitness room. Excellent treadmill.
