Churchill's Hotel

The room i had was upto date very modernised staff very helpful i could not get into building after a few calls and trys so the came out and helped me the only reason why it was not a 5 start is the massive draft from the so called new windows even with the heating on it was very cold

Our room was very roomy, clean and tidy. Even though the hotel does not have a reception desk, the checking in and checking out process was very smooth with clear and precise instructions. Hotel is ideally placed for the local pubs and eateries.

Very clean room and linen. Comfortable bed and nicely warm room where you can adjust temperature. En suite bathroom sparkling clean. Thank you for responding to my emails to improve my stay. I recommend notifying them if you have mobility issues.

I've just left the hotel with my family I got placed here bye the council as I was presented as homeless with no fault off my own . I can assure you that I will never stay here again . I have a number off reasons why ! : Bathroom dated my grandma didn't even have this bathroom. : Bedding only changed once a week : Only aloud 2 towels a week : Horried smell all way through the hotel Lastly such a horrible owner !!! One off the owners ( Danny ) was always helpful . But the second owner I believe he's named Rodger ! I have such little words to describe this hu!am being He is horried to council guests he was to a few off my friends who was also staying here and there children . He as a business man shouldn't be in this job I hope he wakes up one day and realises people have feelings . Enough said before I loose my manners something he hasn't got .

The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. My wife spoke to the cleaning lady who was very polite and helpful. There isn’t a receptionist but the instructions we received by email and text were very clear and easy to follow. Regards Mark and Claire.

Great rooms, clean and modern and right near the local bars which was the purpose of our visit to meet friends. Easy check in and out and a bar attached. Great price for the stay. Will definitely return, staff were very friendly. All on the doorstep.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was impressed with the room and the facilities. Bed was comfy nice fresh clean room and bathroom was large and looked new. Private entrance and car park meant I did not have to go into the bar below which tbf looked a bit rough. The noise from the bar was quite loud but stopped at 10 so did not bother me. No staff here but the place worked for me.

We stayed on Saturday with our 2 children and it was great. It was Quiet despite being in town. Comfortable beds. Easy access. Great facilities for making a drink. Good value for money. Will definitely stay again. Fresh towels provided and plenty of space

Very clean, plenty of space and warm. Shower a bit weak but bathroom very clean and new. Handy for the M1 and travel to many locations. Instructions need careful reading as you need a keycode and must park in the correct carpark
