Wolfeboro Inn

Incredibly disappointing. We stayed for three nights and when we checked in, we were told that they would not be providing any housekeeping services at any point during our stay. No new towels. No beds made. No trash cans emptied. Nothing. Not only didn’t they clean our room or make our bed (we can do that at home for free) but the Inn staff didn’t vacuum the hallways once while we were there or pick up empty pizza or wine boxes left in the hallways over night until sometime the next day. As for the condition of the Inn and rooms, it is worn. The furniture in the rooms looks and feels like it came from an old hospital. Worn, chipped and wipe off fabrics. And the door to our balcony was so warped we had to wedge our bodies against the door to open it. When we told the front desk staff of the problem, they seemed quite familiar with the issue and did offer to show us the trick to opening the door. Here’s another option - if you know the door isn’t working properly, why not repair it so your guests can enjoy what they paid for. On top of this, the bathroom door also didn’t open and close properly and the shower spills water onto the floor with no way to prevent it. Not the quality one expects at this price point. Then the night before we were scheduled to leave, the Inn staff texted us to see if wanted to extend our stay another night for 1/3 of the price we paid. No thank you. Probably an excuse to avoid cleaning our room for another day. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly and do offer to give fresh towels if we requested them during our stay. The Inn is also very convenient and parking is included but that’s about as good as it got. Would not recommend this place or stay here again.

Had a great afternoon with my brother in law, that was made all the better with Emily Kelly behind the bar. Attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Keep it up!

For all bad reviewers and future guests keep in mind that this is not the St Regis nor the Four Seasons, it’s an old 3-star Inn. Yes it is dated, but the beds are extremely confortable, it is walking distance to most places in town, our room was spacious and had wonderful lake view, the front desk lady was very nice and helpful. I hope the owners can make this place great again and get the forth star, Wolfeboro needs better places to stay.

Stayed 3 nites in late April 2025. The hotel is situated in downtown, so it is convenient to shops and restaurants. The room was large but very spartan. Only one chair. Shower had some mold in one corner. There was no housekeeping service. There was no heat - outside air temp in low 40's but a space heater was provided which did the trick. Second and third nites had guests in the room above. Could hear every move they made. All and all, too expensive for the room and service provided.

Disappointing for the price point It was probably just the time of year, but our room was full of ladybugs. The temperature was set to 62 when we arrived, so our room was very chilly, especially with the bare floors. But the building itself was very pretty and we had a great view. There was a balcony, but it was locked. I probably would not stay here again for the prices they charge.
