Step inside to discover a warm and inviting interior, thoughtfully furnished with rustic charm and modern comforts. The open-plan living area features a comfortable seating area, ideal for curling up with a good book or enjoying lively conversations with loved ones. The fully equipped kitchen boasts everything you need to whip up delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table or the spacious deck. After a day of exploring the great outdoors, retreat to the comfort of our bedrooms, where plush bedding promises a restful night's sleep. With two bedrooms (one on the main floor plus a loft), a kitchen, and a spacious living area, Hillside Hideaway comfortably accommodates up to four guests, making it an ideal choice for couples, families, or close friends. The floor to ceiling windows are the main attraction, letting in the wooded scenery. Fast Wi-Fi, an extra large smart TV and comfy couch are the ultimate reward for guests who have spent their day exploring the Gorge! Outside, take a leisurely stroll along winding nature trails or a nearby waterfall, then fire up the fire pit to unwind with a glass of wine as you listen to the soothing sounds of the forest or share laughs with family. This cabin is located down a gravel road with one very steep hill. 4WD/AWD and high clearance is necessary since the gravel hill is so steep and traction is dependent on factors such as weather, traffic etc. There are two very shallow creek crossings when approaching this cabin. If you are arriving during a wet season or wet time, we DO NOT recommend driving a vehicle without 4WD.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs and cats (limit 2 total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:30 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.

Our stay was great! There were a couple things that were lacking though. The back door to the deck would not lock, and the freezer was not working. (We brought ice cream that completely melted) We were also expecting a little more privacy. This cabin is situated between two other cabins that are very close. Our neighbors were pretty loud, and super visible. Other than those things, the cabin was as described and we had a good time.

Rustic stay We enjoyed the rustic location, and appreciated the extra driving instructions. Definitely needed a truck to get around those roads. Some extra kitchen towels, paper towels, basic kitchen utensils like scissors/bottle opener would have been nice. We overall enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We liked that it was new and cleanon the inside. Convenient to nearby Red River Gorge. Things that would have help the stay. --Knowing you absolutely have to bring a 4-wheel.drive vehicle to get to the property. A list of the area attractions and restaurants would have been helpful. The cabin is furnished with uncomfortable furnishings couch and beds especially. Hot tub was dirt with a strong ammonia smell and the yard had trash all over. Had these things been different it would be a very nice house and place to stay.

Private Getaway location not ideal We did not know we were off-roading to get to the cabin. The listing did not indicate that we required a 4 wheel drive vehicle (truck or something similar), and we had a lot of damage to our vehicle, which cost us more than this trip to get repaired! Additionally, we had to park about 2 miles away the last day to prevent our vehicle from becoming a total loss. Sure, this place was cute, but location not ideal for our 4 door sedan. Owner should specify in listing for future guests.

Believe the listing when it says four wheel drive The cabin was very clean, hot tub was nice. We only used one bed but it was comfy. The host had to talk us to the correct cabin, we ended up at the wrong one due to GPS not registering the address just yet. She was very helpful. The roads were treacherous, especially when you met other drivers.

Amazing! This cabin is beyond amazing. We did get lost trying to find it, but the owner called us on christmas day and walked us thru getting there. Its very secluded. We explored the mountainside and walked down the creek and found a valley. The cabin has everything u need to unwind for a few days. We will definetly be back!

Great little cabin Super clean and spacious cabin for a small family. Well laid out with a nice hot tub, large TV, good WiFi, fire pit, and great views. Wouldn’t go there without 4 wheel drive and a little confidence. It’s pretty far back a few gravel drives, one steep incline. Beautiful place would visit again!

Directions Loved the cabin! Only a couple of suggestions-having hooks for coats and towels would really help. Also there was no toaster which was surprising. Biggest concern was the directions. GPS did not register the cabin at all so we drove around a lot. More direct directions in the website would be much helpful. The host was very responsive and helpful when we were lost!

GPS does not work for directions to property. The road is very rough a 4x4 is a must. The sheets were dirty still had pet hair, drool stains etc. After I washed the sheets our stay was enjoyable.
