I love Homewood Suites. usually this brand of staff is very nice and welcoming. The brand standard is to make your stay feel like a Home Away From Home. but it was the complete opposite for me. The man Checking me in was completely rude. i don’t know if he was a manager or just a regular front desk agent but it was a very tall and large white man. he made me feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. i didn’t even want to step foot into the front lobby, i never got breakfast, i always went through the back. i wanted to absolutely avoid any interaction with him. Everyone else was so nice.. i loved talking to the housekeepers, i loved the room. boston is amazing and my anniversary trip was great. I hope you guys can train your staff or if it the manager to have better hospitality because the hotel is gorgeous and all it’s lacking is the welcome feeling and kindness… hopefully that man can have a better day.
