Had Sunday lunch for a relatives birthday. Everything was perfect from food, setting and the welcoming, friendly staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Exquisite Sunday roast. Convenient free parking at the rear of the hotel. The atmosphere was great.

We have just enjoyed an overnight stay at the Woburn. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was a nice size, light and bright with a large bed. There was no air conditioning but with the fan and the breeze coming in through the windows, it was lovely and cool. The water in the bathroom was not drinkable however which was the only negative. The restaurant was really nice with loads of menu choices. There was a gluten free menu for breakfast and dinner. All the food was beautifully cooked and well presented. I would like to also say that Finn was extremely helpful in the restaurant and made sure my GF order was correct. Check out was again very friendly. Would definitely return in the future.

We chose the hotel for its proximity to a wedding we were attending in Leighton Buzzard. The welcome from Chloe was warm and friendly. We were able to check into our room (304) on the 1st floor right away which was great after a long drive. We met some friends for drinks in the bar. Harrison looked after us very well indeed. We had a reservation for dinner in the hotel restaurant where Kiki looked after us. Kiki, like Harrison were both professional, friendly and took time to engage with us. The restaurant was not busy but it has a good atmosphere. The food was of a high standard, presented well and was plentiful on the plate. All in all a very pleasant experience. Sadly not so could be said for the room. As I said, 304 was on the 1st floor. One of the Double Plus categories. It was spacious, with a sofa as well as two chairs along with a small table. It was clean, with a shower over the bath. Sadly it was a disruption of noice that marred our stay. We spent two nights, each morning, quite early there was banging of doors movement of furniture. We could not be certain, but we think we might have been over a 'function room' or possible a part of the hotel used by staff. Anyway, as I say it did not spoil the stay, more made it irritating. Would we return, I do not think so.

Our room was small and tired. It had everything you’d want but it was frugal. The service from start to end was poor and the breakfast was slow and about what you’d expect when all you can hear is the slam of the microwave door. I would not return.

Arrived at the hotel to check in, and received quite confusing instructions on where our suite was located. We wandered around the hotel for a while and went back to ask again, only to discover that the rooms were located through the bar, past the toilets and along a corridor, with no signage other than "lavatories" to their whereabouts. Staff need better training on giving directions and there needs to be better signs. We booked a suite for 3 of us (my wife and I, plus our son), which was advertised as being luxury and large etc and can sleep 4. We expected a suite, as in every other hotel we have stayed in, to have a separate living area (with a sofa bed or similar) to main bedroom area, so that our son could sleep in a separate area to us. A "suite" in this hotel is just a slightly larger than normal double. There were other issues with the room, such as no electrical sockets next to the beds for charging mobile phones etc. I have to use a breathing machine at night, and there was nowhere to plug it in. Only 1 roll of toilet roll was provided for 3 people, and only 3 small bottles of water (when there was a warning sign saying the water in the bathroom was not drinking water). I requested for extra toilet roll and some still water, was promised this would arrive when we were out, but it didn't. Our daughter's room didn't have an iron - even Travelodge's have these - it's a basic necessity when staying in a hotel to be able to iron your clothes. Given it was a special wedding booking and the hotel therefore knew we would be all dressing up, this should have been provided. She was able to come to our "luxury" room, which had an iron, but shouldn't have had to. Given 2 rooms for 2 nights were in excess of £800, I expect a lot more for my money. Another family member got a phone call a week before she was due to stay, explaining the "cottage" she had booked, also at considerable expense, had been overbooked and they were unable to offer it to her because the other person had booked first; she had booked this room in September, for a stay in May. It's hard to believe that story. She was offered an inferior room instead. At the end of the dinner on the first night, I asked how breakfast worked, as we had 2 people who needed gluten free food. We were shown a GF menu with a breakfast section and then told food would be ordered from here, which we were all happy with. Next morning at breakfast, we asked for the GF menu and the server said there wasn't one, that the kitchen doesn't offer GF food and that we should order from the main menu and she would note it to the chef and he would see what he could do. We had all seen the GF menu from the day before, with a specific GF breakfast menu; two of our party had eaten GF food in the evening from the very same kitchen/restaurant. My wife declined to have breakfast, at which point the server was surprised. I noted that it's because of what she said about there being no GF menu and the kitchen not offeri

Stayed here for one night to attend a nearby wedding. Whilst the staff are very helpful and attentive the hotel has clearly seen better days. On entry to our room we discovered a large carpet stain where previous guests had clearly flooded the bathroom, stitching on the bed base had come undone, showing the interior stuffing, and we were not enamoured of the 2 am fire alarm call, apparently caused by a geust smoking in their room. Some re-decoration would go a long way and some no smoking signs are clearly required.

Just WOW !!! A perfect stay, there is not one bad word to say; 1) The staff were so attentive and caring, they made us feel extremely welcome. 2) The rooms were spotless! We asked for extra pillows, an iron and batteries for our remote, they were dealt with immediately and at no extra cost. Again lovely staff! The bed was so comfortable, I’m disabled and finding somewhere to sleep can be extremely challenging. I have no issues at all with our room. It was perfect and fulfilled all my needs. 3) The food was gorgeous! Compliments to the chefs and the surroundings were so atmospheric to sit and enjoy our food and drinks. 4) The hotel is so picturesque and its aged qualities made it perfect! 5) Thank you to Emmanuel who worked extremely hard with etiquette and finesse! Such a lovely member of staff. 6) Thank you to Benji who gave us service with a smile! 7) Thank you to the reception staff, Olga and her team had their customer service hats on straight! We can not fault our stay at all. Thank you to all at The Woburn. Jane & Rob

Nice enough Nice hotel, good restaurant and room. Not the hotels fault, but if you rely on EE as a phone service, there is no signal at all.
