Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt sehr gepflegt. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Lediglich der Geruch hat mich gestört sowie der Ausblick aus dem Zimmerfenster auf eine schmutzige Regenrinne mit Zigarettenstummeln. Das Frühstück war der Hammer und auch das Abendessen (à la carte) war qualitativ sehr gut. Auch für Veganer/Vegetarier ist genug da. Das nette kleine Hallenbad bot am Abend noch ein wenig Entspannung.

We had a nice family weekend to celebrate my brother and dad's birthday. The staff of the hotel did an excellent job in helping to organize the stay, rooms were perfect; breakfast excellent and we had a very nice personalized birthday diner. We will definitely come back!

Wir waren bereits mehrfach im Hotel Vulcano Lindenhof und es bleibt für uns ein absoluter Favorit. Dieses familiengeführte Hotel ist perfekt zwischen Eifel und Mosel gelegen und bietet eine wunderschöne Lage am Stadtrand. Die idyllische Umgebung am Wald schafft eine ruhige Atmosphäre mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Stadt und die umliegenden Weinberge. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man auch zu Fuß schnell in der Stadt, was den Aufenthalt besonders bequem macht. Kostenlose Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, stilvoll und modern, mit besonderem Fokus auf Komfort und Design. Die Bäder sind wunderschön, und die Sauberkeit ist stets tadellos. Der tolle Spa-Bereich sorgt für zusätzliche Entspannung. Das Restaurant ist ebenso beeindruckend, mit einer eleganten und stilvollen Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend – köstlich, schön angerichtet und begleitet von einer großartigen Auswahl an Weinen. Der Service ist herausragend, und alle Mitarbeiter agieren auf höchstem, serviceorientierten Niveau, sodass man sich als Gast sehr willkommen fühlt. Alles in allem bietet das Hotel Vulcano Lindenhof ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis, das nur die höchste Punktzahl verdient. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Schmudeliges Hotel, schlampige Bauweise, die „Renovierung“ war nur oberflächlich. Grauslige Teppiche. Der Klobesen schwimmt im Wasser. Veraltete Technik und Lampen und kaum Steckdosen im Zimmer. Restaurant völlig überteuert. Nettes Personal

Wir waren als Jagdgesellschaft zu Gast im Lindenhof und hatten abends im " Kaminzimmer " ein Buffetessen .Wir waren mehr als positiv überrascht, wie geschmackvoll der Essenstisch jagdlich geschmückt war.Das ganze Team um Frau Braun war sehr aufmerksam und serviceorientiert.Es war eine unaufgesetzte,gelebte Gastfreundschaft ,die leider heute in dieser Art und Weise schon als Ausnahme zu bezeichnen ist.Auch das Buffet war sehr ansprechend und z.B.die Preise für die guten Moselweine sehr angemessen .Wir können das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen und würden unsere Gäste jederzeit wieder im Lindenhof unterbringen. Zeer mooi hotel gelegen tegen een heuvel met uitzicht over Wittlich en achteraan met uitzicht op een bos. Zeer mooie en lichte kamers met alle comfort. Het restaurant verdient minstens 3 sterren. Men gebruikt streek- en seizoensproducten. Bij het ontbijt is er een uitgebreide keuze. Het personeel en de eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en maken tijd voor hun gasten. Het is alsof je er thuis komt. Wij kunnen niets slecht zeggen over dit hotel. Het wellness gedeelte met zwembad, Turks stoombad, sauna en relaxgedeelte is enkel voorbehouden voor hotelgasten Ons volgend verblijf is al geboekt.

I could not agree more with the review from 2017 where it advised that this was far more a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. I do not know what exactly German standards are but a 4 star hotel has a bit of luxury in it. This had very little unless the evening dinner was anything to write home about it. When I reached my room, I was actually astonished. The feel of the furniture was out of a cheap Ikea packing. There was absolutely nothing 4 star about it. There was a small balcony which was fine but again from reading the reviews etc, I expected a better view. There is no air conditioning and no mini bar! I sought a ventilator for the 2nd evening but to be honest, I was glad to get back to my own bed after 2 nights here. The hotel lies about 2km from Wittlich with a steep enough climb for the last 400m. There is a nice quick forest walk outside the hotel. The swimming pool was small but lovely and the breakfast was ok. The lady helping out was attentive and very nice. Staff were ok but like the rest of the hotel, there is nothing special about this place. There is nothing exactly wrong but I expected a bit of a "wow" factor which was sadly missing. This is why I am giving this a 3 and not a 2 star. Altogether, I would stay somewhere else with a swimming pool with a better atmosphere and standard of accommodation.
