Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Zimmer und der Poolbereich waren sehr sauber. Was mich besonders beeindruckt und gefreut hat, war die sehr gute Qualität beim Essen im Restaurant. Ich werde bestimmt wieder kommen. Die Fenster sind sehr schalldicht. Bei geöffneten Fenstern stört schon mal der naheliegende Zugverkehr.

Das Hotel ist einen Hauch zu teuer für einen Ort wie Witten und die gebotene Leistung. Positiv sind die geräumigen (wenn auch etwas verwinkelten und recht altbacken eingerichteten) Zimmer, die Sauberkeit und die freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück ist auf der Rechnung mit 20 Euro ausgewiesen, die es nun wirklich nicht wert ist. Es ist vollkommen in Ordnung und macht gute Schritte in Richtung Nachhaltigkeit, besonders reichhaltig ist es allerdings nicht. Auch im Restaurant sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, das Essen ist aber für meinen persönlichen Geschmack leider nicht sonderlich gut. Dafür wiederum gibt es große Portionen, und es ist ja eben auch nur mein Geschmack. Die zentrale Lage überzeugt: Das Hotel liegt nah am Bahnhof und direkt neben einer Veranstaltungsstätte. Es hat Schwimmbad und Sauna - ersteres ist aktuell nicht zugänglich, zweites haben wir nicht genutzt.

Sicher in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung. Leider auch das Umfeld Zeitzeuge des urbanen niedergangs kleiner Städte. Hier wäre mal der Soli angebracht. Gibt wohl im Hause schon renovierte Zimmer, hatten aber noch ein altes im 80 er style weil wir schon vor 3 einchecken wollten. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gefällig geschnitten, die Betten und Matratzen sicher nicht so alt wie die Einrichtung. Hier maximal zu investieren kann sich ein Familien geführter privater Betreiber kaum leisten. Aber so nach und nach wäre super. Gibt nicht viel Auswahl in Witten. Die Lage ist super mit 10 min in die City und der Ausblick aus dem 8 Stock toll. Frühstück im rooftop mit Terrasse im Sommer. Im Spa waren wir nicht. Frühstück gut. Gutes Preis Leistungsniveau und sehr freundliches Personal. Für ein paar Übernachtungen völlig ok.
