Not sure where to begin.. I was shown to my room ( number 5) it wasn't the room originally booked...the room was small with tiny bathroom, I'm a size 12 and struggled to turn round in the shower! Carpet had been patched together. Damp patches on several walls, furniture mismatched, no wardrobe only hanging space.2 narrow steps down into the room very tatty with dusty cowebs on ceiling. The whole place is very tired and needs serious money spent on it. The staff were friendly. A bit tiresome to ask every morning for more butter- 1 tiny butter pat isn't enough for a round of toast no side plates/knife.

Very quick check in, not even an explanation about breakfast. Data protection a slight issue with one form for all guests to add details! Room was off the courtyard, seems like a converted cellar or storeroom from the old inn, I love quirky so not a problem but the room smelt musty, the decor was untidy and the bathroom needed refurbishing. Not even a shelf to put our toiletries on. However everything was clean. Our towels were changed after only one use and no separate bin for recycling so not very environmentally friendly. Car park limited. Room above us was noisy, not sure if it was staff or another guest but we could hear everything, even at 5am when they were getting up both mornings!! Staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was basic but ok. The whole thing felt like a restaurant with rooms as opposed to a b&b with a restaurant.

Super basic hotel. Room was very outdated and the mattress probably needed replacing a few years ago. Strong smell of curry from the restaurant throughout the whole place.

The property is very run down, there was no mattress cover and the bottom sheet was not fitted. The towels were thin and old and the bathroom had black molds and had a bad smell of damp. The attached restaurant served good food and staff were pleasant. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel

Cheap for area and great food Warm welcome to the hotel. Parking is tight but there. Rooms are a little tired but they are clean. Food is amazing and after a long day of eating just a bag of crisps was a very great experience.. Nepalese and Indian is my favourite! Definitely stay again. Cant go wrong for the price.

Four poster bed Friendly staff. I know the building is old but the walls were terrible. Damp, cracked walls and ceilings bedroom and bathroom. No washing soap, shower gel of any kind. Food in the restaurant was good service was good. Just a little ruff in the room.
