Stayed here with my fiance for one night as we were attending an evening wedding reception at the Essex Barn great yeldham. We stayed in room number 5, inside it was spacious plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe which has iron and ironing board inside, large shower room with towels and toiletries ( if you are a larger person I would suggest bringing your own bathsheet to dry as the larger of the towels will not cover you) towels nice and soft. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows, looked like a brand new carpet in the room which in itself was immaculate. We had breakfast in the morning which was very good, the sausages and bacon was of good quality, lovely polite staff. I would definitely stay again if I were to come back to the area and would highly recommend it .

Lovely stay just what we wanted. Loved the fact we wasn’t rushed to check out. Food was lovely and the staff very friendly. Would definitely go back!!

Everything was great. The room was large & warm. The en suite was very big & the shower amazing. Breakfast was delicious & nothing was too much for them to get you. Dinner on arrival was also very good. If I need to be back in the area, this is where I will stay. Highly recommended.

The rooms were clean and comfortable- home from home. The food and friendly atmosphere was great. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was superb! All in all a lovely stay and we would definitely go back.

The place is located near Ridwell village with easy access to local museums and also Hedingham castle. The staff is friendly and the hygiene is excellent. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing staycation.
