Black Hawk Motel & Suites

This has been our seventh stay at the Blackhawk and each time it has been enjoyable. Room is extremely clean, grounds impeccably managed, and staff always willing to help. This years upgrade were the new 43" TV's in the poolside rooms !!! 80 years in business, Brad & Tena run a very well managed family business !! Will be back for our eighth visit next year. Jim & Jan

We have been coming to the Blackhawk for many years. It is our family summer break destination! The rooms we have stayed in over the years have all been clean, quiet, and perfect for a getaway. We chose the cottage style room this year and it was a big hit with the family. 2 bedrooms, common dining and living areas, and bathroom. Perfect space for our family. The front bedroom doesn't have an air conditioner but the common space does and that cools that room perfectly as well! Parking for most rooms is literally right outside your door, the other guests respect the quiet hours and other rules. The pool is usually crazy busy with kids/families but we don't usually use the pool so that doesn't affect our stay (and really, isn't that what the pool is for? kids to have fun on vacation?). It is perfectly located just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Dells but close enough to the area that you are only a few minutes for whatever attractions you may want to take in. Highly recommend for families, very family friendly! Only con is that they are closed for part of the year (November to February-ish), but that is a minor thing. We will be back next year!

Room was amazing, came back to a clean room after a long day of walking and service was great. Everyone was 10/10 and was amazing!

My family spent three nights at the Blackhawk and loved it. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were so friendly and warm. The two pools (inside and out) were great. Our 7-year-old was thrilled by the pools and game room. A great stay in the Dells!

I think this was the third time I have stayed at the Black Hawk and they are great every time. Honestly, the place doesn't look like much, but the rooms are always clean, the prices are reasonable, and the grounds are taken care of. The option of both an indoor and outdoor pool is so nice. We grilled out on the lawn near the playground equipment. We took a little walk down to the bars/shops. There's a Kwik Trip right across the street if you need anything. Love staying at the Black Hawk!
