We recently stayed at the Blackhawk Motel and Suites with our grown children. We have been coming to this Motel since our kids were small. It is a family owned property, and they are very nice and always helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool is warm and comfortable (we didn't use the indoor pool this time). Nighttime is quiet and the people we've encountered have been respectful of keeping noise down after 10 p.m. This motel is a family favorite and we will return .

Decent hotel for the price. Staff was nice, room and grounds were clean, and it’s in a convenient location. Our sink had a bad leak, and it took the a little over a day to have someone fix it. Luckily we were traveling with family and could use their sink for getting ready. I will say, the mattress is on the firm side. I’m used to a medium/soft bed, and I was ok for our weekend stay, but I couldn’t see myself sleeping on it for anything longer than a weekend. The air conditioner is also a little noisy.

Another exceptional stay. Love the family atmosphere without all the big resort. The owners and staff are very accommodating. Met a couple who have going there for 30 years and I understand why. Always our go to hotel. Rooms in exceptional conditions. Looking forward to our next trip.

Retro motor inn that is classic in all ways! Immaculate! As you drive up, you can sense that someone has pride in their place. This place is so well maintained from the sign to the parking lot to the rooms to the pools. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check in to check out and in between. The room was VERY clean. Comfortable and plenty of room for our family of four. Kids loved the pools and the game room. We loved watching them. The parking right at your door is a lost amenity that is preserved here. Great discounted tickets to Noah’s Ark $29, Pirates Cove $4.75/game, FREE ******* Mansion pass (which the kids loved!). We would definitely stay here again!

The Black Hawk Motel has everything you need, all the fun of a big resort but none of the BS. Pool was clean and warm, the hot tub was Hot! You park right in front of your room.

Love the swimming pools, the water is heated and is wonderful. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The owners will truly accommodate us in any way. We have been returning for 18 years. We return every year.

Super clean motel room and grounds. Reminded me of back in the day motel. Very family oriented. Nice playground, and very nice pool. Room was beautifully updated. Will definitely return if in the area again.
