Everything was fine. The price/performance ratio was OK if you only needed to stay overnight. We didn't see much else of the hotel, which is why we can't give a more detailed review.

A Regretful Experience – Lacking Basic Customer Care I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with My Home Zurich left me genuinely disappointed. From the start, the communication felt cold and impersonal. Rather than trying to understand my situation, the staff responded with rigidity and a lack of basic courtesy. I fully acknowledged that the mistake in the booking was mine — and I wasn’t expecting miracles — but some level of flexibility or empathy would’ve made a big difference. Instead, I was met with a flat refusal, full cancellation charges, and a clear message: “we’re not here to help.” Sadly, this kind of attitude overshadows any benefit the hotel might offer. There are many places in Zurich where guests are treated with kindness and understanding. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you value respectful service and peace of mind.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with My Home Zurich. The way the staff handled my situation was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. Their tone was rude and dismissive, and they showed no willingness to assist or even listen properly. Even when I explained that the booking was a personal mistake, they insisted on charging full cancellation fees with zero flexibility or empathy. It felt like they were more interested in profit than treating people with basic respect. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone — even if it’s the last option in Zurich. A place that treats guests (or potential guests) this way is not worth your time, money, or peace of mind.

Düster und es stinkt, trotz der künstlichen Beduftung. Irgendwie wirkt das Hotel abgelebt, obwohl im Zimmer alles vorhanden war. Trotzdem war ich froh, nur 1 Nacht dort geschlafen zu haben. Das zum Hotel gehörende (brasilianische) Restaurant war bei meinem Besuch leer. Das Büffet lockte für 25.- Doch die angebotenen Speisen waren nicht so, dass ich es weiter empfehlen würde.

Ich war im my Home Winterthur für eine Nacht zu Gast. Es liegt außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum in der Nähe zur Autobahn. Großer Vorteil ist der große kostenlose Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Checkin war bis 23 Uhr problemlos möglich. Frühstück hatte ich nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß. Es lag seitlich an der Hauptstraße, daher war schlafen mit geöffnetem Fenster nicht möglich. Das Zimmer selbst war recht modern und an sich redet gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war leider nicht sehr besonders (ist in jedem Motel One deutlich besser) und Kleinigkeiten an der Ausstattung waren in keinem guten Zustand (z.B. schminkspiegel im Bad defekt). Sauberkeit war OK, hat aber sicher noch Potential nach oben (viel Staub, verschmutztes Glas der Duschwand) Alles in allem OK, für eine Nacht aus Durchreise z.B. sehr gut zu empfehlen. Für einen Städtetrip oder längeren Aufenthalt aber nicht geeignet meiner Meinung nach.
