Einfach klasse. Wer da nicht einkehrt, hat viel verpasst. Schöne Biere, tolles Essen, nettes Ambiente. Sehr liebe Gastgeber. Sehr empfehlenswert ! Schöne Zimmer. Aufmerksamer Service. Gute Lage. Parkplätze. Nahe an den Stränden und an schönen Orten.

An excellent place to stay - it feels miles from anywhere but is a five minute drive into Dorchester. Two lovely rooms with comfy sofas and beds and one is accessible with a wet room designed for those with limited mobility. The stream runs along the front of the building right under the windows of the rooms which is a soothing addition to the countryside sounds. Lovely food most evenings and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The rooms open off the patio where guests sit and drink until closing but we had no issues with noise. Pop around the side of the pub and have a look at the sheep wash while you’re there. Will definitely return.

My wife and I called in on a weekday lunchtime having driven past the pub in the past. I had one of daily specials, Rogan Gosh Chicken curry and my wife had another, Asian pan fried sea bass with trimmings. Excellent lunch wrapped up with sticky toffee pudding dessert. Very friendly staff. Good choice of sled. Good garden and parking. We will be back!

Happy Surprise
Last-minute decision to stay and boy oh boy were we pleasantly surprised! A lovely restaurant, dinner, breakfast, lodging, and the facilities were imaginative and SO hospitable! Bravo!

The best !!
Lovely place to stay . Staff were friendly. Room was exceptional loads of space. With breakfast served in the room as standard, and what a breakfast! Cant wait to stay again.
