Hotel Restaurant Lamm Hebsack

We booked (a family of 4) in this hotel through friends of ours, who had booked some rooms to welcome their wedding guests (a clarification: we did not know and had never seen the other guests before). As soon as we arrived, we discovered that the our room isn't there. The blame is placed on the other guests who - according to the hotel staff - had independently taken possession of our room. We are finally assigned a smaller room than the one booked and our needs. After a few minutes, we discover that that room was also already occupied by another family guest at the wedding. The other family gathers in another room and gives us the copy in their possession of the keys to our room (keys that they had received from the staff). Obviously the room had been delivered to us without having been washed in the meantime compared to the previous brief occupation of the room. 'other host family (which I repeat we don't know) At dinner we point out that we don't want to pay as much as the others, since we are occupying a smaller room. We are reassured on this point. The next day we are instead made to pay the same as the others and to our complaints they reply that there is nothing they can do. We will certainly never forget this experience.

We were guests here for a big birthday. The celebration took place in the attractive vaulted cellar - the only negative was the noise level due to the structural conditions. The tables were beautifully set. The food in the buffet was very tasty. Empty bowls were quickly refilled. The furniture in our room was a bit dated, but neat and clean, the beds/mattresses were quite comfortable. Nice big bathroom with a window. Hotel a bit nooky. Elevator available. Parking spaces on site. Our dog was welcome. Friendly staff.
