Everything was fine, only the air conditioning in the restaurant was very strong.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely part of Orlando. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The complimentary toiletries are amazing and the restaurant in the hotel has excellent food. Would recommend this for any business traveller

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Winter Park! Been to the Alfond several times and it’s always a great place to stay. It’s impeccably well maintained and staff are so kind and professional. The hotel was beautiful as is, but the renovations elevated it even more with the beautiful spa and cafe. Highly recommend!!

This was our first stay at The Alfond Inn, and overall we had a lovely experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. We were especially pleased to be able to check in early, as we were eager to spend some time by the pool before heading out for dinner later. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We also enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar before dinner, which was well stocked and staffed by friendly and attentive bartenders. The hotel itself is simply stunning—tasteful decor and an inviting atmosphere throughout. However, there was one significant disappointment: the pool area. It really needs a refresh. We arrived on a Sunday and discovered that poolside bar and food service is only available on weekends. On Monday, there was no service at all—not even water. With temperatures in the 90s, we found it inconvenient to have to walk back to the lobby for a small plastic cup of cold water. Providing at least a water cooler or dispenser at the pool would make a big difference. Additionally, the pool loungers were noticeably worn and tattered, and the umbrellas were in poor condition. For a hotel positioned as a luxury property, this was surprising and disappointing. All in all, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the beautiful interiors, comfortable accommodations, and excellent staff—but we hope to see improvements to the pool area in the future to truly match the rest of the hotel’s high standards.

i checked into the resort at or around 2:00am with my wife after our wedding reception. After a long draining day, we showered and went to sleep. We woke up around 9:30am-10:00am and decided to do breakfast. Upon arriving BACK to the room, WE BEGAN GETTING BOMBARDED WITH CALLS BY THE FRONT DESK TO CHECK OUT". AGAIN, I BOOKED THIS RESORT FOR MY WIFE AND I TO ENJOY AFTER GETTING MARRIED". WE HAVENT EVEN BEEN CHECKED INTO THE RESORT FOR 12 HOURS, AND WAS CHARGED ALMOST " $700.00" I WILL NOT RECOOMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE PHOTO SHOWS CHARGES FOR 1/2 DAY STAY Room and resort is beautiful, but experience with billing/management was horrible

We were disappointed with our stay. There is good and bad. Good- check-in was great as we were allowed to check in early. The room was very nice, just as we expected. The location is very good as we like to walk to Park avenue. The food in the cafe was good and reasonably priced. The valet guys were good and fast in retrieving our car. The bad - the pool is downright awful and in desperate need of an overhaul. On our vacations, we like to sit and relax at a quiet pool area and enjoy a nice meal out. Fairly simple. Your pool has the worst pool furniture I have ever seen at a hotel - luxury hotel or not. The umbrellas are mostly broken - on piece fell off of one umbrella and nearly hit my wife on the head. The loungers are impossible to sit on as they are worn, torn, and tattered. I would be embarrassed to offer my guests these chairs. I took pictures of them if you would like to see them. There are not enough chairs - I counted 11, including 1 that looks like it was the oddball and bought at Home Depot. It was probably in the best shape of all of them actually. You need more than 11. The pool bar/food is only available on weekends. That took us by surprise but we were fine with it. However, what is really odd is that you cannot even provide water by the pool on weekdays. Really? It's 95 degrees and you can't put a water station out there? You have them elsewhere in the hotel, why not at the pool? Every hotel in Florida has a water station for pool guests. By the way, the spa pool looks nice with new furniture, nice towels, someone working there but no guests!! Maybe because it is ridiculously expensive. The overall pool experience shattered our opinion of the hotel. We would like to return because of the rooms and the location, but thumbing your nose at weekday guests who would like a nice pool experience turns us off, especially in the summer. We can go to the JW Marriott or any number of other resorts that are similar and who offer a better experience.

A very nice hotel in a beautiful part of town. Staff was vey professional and courteous. During our second day, we experienced a leak in the bathroom ceiling due to the heavy rains that morning. Called the front desk and they immediately provided the adjoining room. Convenient and problem solved. Even threw in a complimentary day in the spa for my wife! Nice touch.

This hotel is a mixed bag. For the area, it's expensive--more expensive than any other hotels in the immediate area. Obnoxiously, on top of its high room rates, it adds a $25/night "resort fee" with no discernable benefits. And valet parking, at even more per night, is the only parking option. So the question becomes: is it worth the room rate premium? My answer: meh. On the plus side, the rooms are relatively spacious and have pleasant design and good lighting. The hallways and lobby are lined with contemporary art, and that yields a nice environment. On the down side: on my first stay, sleep was interrupted by loud "muzak" playing in the atrium. On the second stay, the room was directly above the valet parking stand and entrance, and thus loud with cars. Housekeeping was uneven at best. On the second stay, trash was on the balcony, hand soap and body lotion were not provided, dirty washclothes were not picked up during daily service, and the desk lamp and power ***** on the desk were unplugged. An elevator was out of service my entire stay, bringing the hotel to one useable guest elevator, causing delays. Service is also mixed. The front desk staff member's welcome consisted of "name and credit card?". The valet staff is nice, but overworked. They provide no system to request your car in advance (only hotel I have ever stayed in without that service, despite the charge) and, on two nights, I arrived back at the hotel to a line to drop off the car that stretched down the street and a long wait. So, while the hotel has some potential, its service delivery is lackluster and does not match the premium charged, which (with the resort fee) goes above and beyond the already high room rate.
