It’s a nice hotel, quiet, clean and welcoming, breakfast is fine as usual.

Not very friendly at check in - just doesn’t speak. Found a couple of bugs in my room. Otherwise a good stay. Great amenities and location .

The place is inviting and beautiful, worth a visit. There was wonderful service and many complimentary items as well, such as breakfast, cheese and wine, and milk and cookies. Everything was very nice especially considering the age. What caught our attention most probably is that they have a cat, miss sally, who is just out and about, and is a sweet little surprise

LOVE the new TVs and carpet looks great. Always nice to have the complimentary wine hour and warm cookies too! The hot breakfast in the morning is always delicious and the staff so friendly and welcoming. The convenience to the Greenway right by Old Salem is a plus for early morning runs.

The good: The actual bed and the breakfast were great and could not be better! The hotel, in general, was fun to walk around and learn about the history and the renovation. The ambiance was very good. The service providers were all very nice and pleasant. The Bad: we reserved the room with less than a weeks notice and one room was available. We had two complaints. Yeh, they are petty, but... They installed a soap dish at head level in the tub/shower on the back wall right where you stand. You could not move without bumping into it. I sure did. Whoever decided to put it there has no idea of ergonomics. It was the worse possible place. Secondly, the beds were on one wall and an 18 inch tv, yea, really, was inside a cabinet facing sideways not viewable from the beds or anyplace to sit. We laughed about having to watch a tv the size of a computer screen. I personally have not seen a tv this small in ten years. They must have gotten a good deal on it and the cabinet it was sitting in, as neither belonged here.

Very cozy and quaint hotel. The outdoor space was ideal and the rooms were lovely. The ceiling in our room were my favorite. The wine & cheese every night from 5-6 and cookies and milk from 8-9 were great added touches! We will definitely be recommending The Brookstown Inn to others!
