M lounge staff member, Pamela, was excellent!!! Her customer service was stellar and was definitely there to make the guest experience the very best. She was helpful when trying to figure out how to get breakfast before they started serving at 630a and no matter how many people were there, the M lounge was immaculate.

Ugh, dirty elevators, bleak lobby, just a general feeling of ick in the hotel itself. I was let down by the assurance of a Marriott hotel. The quality was definitely not what I expected. First room was a king bed...we booked two queen beds. Down the dirty elevator (I mean, spill marks all over the inside of the doors), to get new room and keys.

Good location in close walking distance to attractions, the convention center, bars, and eateries. Walking bridge connects the hotel to a parking facility. Hotel is clean and well maintained. The adjoining Butcher and Bull steakhouse is an alright place to eat.

Jay Arce at the Winston-Salem Marriott butcher and bull bar is amazing! He is so welcoming and remembers everyone’s name and favorite drink from the first time he meets them. You will not be disappointed if Jay is helping you out! Actually, the entire crew at that restaurant and the bar is amazing and super personable. Always excellent service.

The hotel is always nice, but the stand out is Jay at the bar! Not only is he an amazing bartender, he’s an absolute joy to be around too. Whether I was having a drink or just drinking water, he was always attentive and kept my drink full even at the busiest of times. Ask for him by name, you won’t be disappointed!

Stayed one night on a work trip and had a good stay. Clean, updated room. The shower water took awhile to get truly hot, but room was great otherwise and even had a robe. I used the fitness center which was large and nice, and had access to the lounge with a great and easy to use coffee machine, some non-alcoholic beverages, and some snacks readily available, plus hot snacks in the evening and a continental breakfast. Staff all seemed kind. Overall a pretty updated property although the look of the outside and the hallways were nothing to write home about. Didn’t try the restaurant but it looked busy. They have valet as well, and for some reason the elevators seemed old and beat up. But overall you should have a good stay! Very walkable to downtown, restaurants, coffee shops and more. And connected via a covered bridge to the convention center which is very convenient.

Maria parral made our check in procedure the easiest possible. And we had 9 rooms so it isn’t easy to do. Very pleased with the service of the hotel. We did have some issues with the head of valet causing unnecessary hoops for us to jump through, but the assistant general manager Claire came to the rescue and took great care of our large group.

Sheila!!! So sweet!!! She was a pleasure to talk to and she was always so welcoming. Room was good and bed was very comfortable. The front desk took a while to acknowledge me standing there trying to check in even though no one else was at the counter.
