Family hotel, the landlord is very enthusiastic. There are not many rooms, in a community, next to the community public green space, very beautiful There are no public transportation facilities nearby, and the prices are a bit high.

A really pleasant and enjoyable experience. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were a good size and the food was very good. Spa facilities were really relaxing and Rebecca, the masseuse, was very good, would highly recommend her. We were also booked in for an afternoon tea which was delicious and the scones were syill warm and yummy and the glass of bubbly just washed it all down really nicely! I would defo go back and recommend to family and friends.

The hotel was very nice. The room was huge by UK standards and very clean. The bathroom had a bath and a shower, both of which were ample for my height (5’10). The girl at the reception was very polite and helpful as was the service at breakfast. The breakfast was good, options for both cold and hot. Would certainly stay again. Location is near open park areas, I did walk from the station and it was certainly doable (took about 20 minutes) if not super-convenient. Would stay again.

Really loved everything about this hotel - from my stay to the food and it’s location close to the city centre. Will definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Reading! Staff is really friendly and helpful as well - they knock on the door every morning the room!

Very old country hotel, but not old at all. Very distinctive. It is said that George ． Bruni's house is behind the hotel. There is a very popular and very distinctive bar. The room is large and clean

Been here many times and never disappointed. Love their retro quirky touches ie Smegg fridge And Kettle. With the hotel being in a 5⭐️ Location andq l the high standard accommodation I really believe it would be worth them investing in Air Conditioningloinnńbğ nnnnnq. It was 28df and the room only had a tiny window So no air and the fan they supplied just circulated hot air around the room. Plus the fan was so noisy. But that is my only complaint.

Really lovely, central hotel, set back from the main road. Quiet, spotlessly clean and the room was warm and cosy, with nice decor. Home away from home. Didn’t use hotel amenities, bar room service. From what I saw, it was of high standard. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice clean hotel would definitely stay there again. It was also nice getting a free upgrade on the room. Witch had kettle, microwave, and fridge with a small freezer compartment. The room was like your own flat. Only down side to it was the shower was pretty crap. But you can put up with it for few nights.

The breakfast is the same every day, I vomited after eating, and the sheets and bed were dusty. When my friend picked me up to go to the hotel in the UK, when I checked the hotel's hygiene, I saw hair and dust on the bed. I wanted to complain at the first time, but my friend said Forget it, it doesn't make sense. The second day and the third day are still the same, I'm about to go crazy, after I reported to Trip.com customer service, the hotel staff came up and brought me a towel and it's all over 😰
