Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport

Convenient airport location near rental cars and food. Friendly staff provide excellent service. Comfortable, quiet rooms with nice decor. Clean, updated rooms and comfortable beds.

My recent stay at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport was a letdown, and I would not recommend it unless your only priority is walking straight into the terminal for an early flight. While the location is undeniably convenient—situated directly within the airport—the hotel relies far too heavily on this one benefit to justify an otherwise underwhelming experience. The rooms are surprisingly small and feel cramped, especially for the price being charged. You’re limited to choosing between either a king bed or two double beds—no queen options, no real flexibility. For families, couples, or anyone traveling with luggage, the layout can feel tight and uncomfortable. Despite being part of the Sheraton brand, the room furnishings and overall ambiance felt dated and generic, lacking both charm and warmth. The biggest issue, however, is the pricing. This hotel charges an exorbitant rate simply because of its airport location, but offers nothing else in terms of luxury or value to match. There are no standout amenities, no upgraded comforts, and certainly no sense of being at a high-end or even mid-tier business hotel. For what I paid, I expected a more spacious room, better service, and modern accommodations. Instead, I received a small, standard room with minimal features and a view of the terminal. Dining options are also extremely limited and overpriced, with nothing nearby unless you go through security or drive off-site. Service was polite but impersonal, and the check-in process felt rushed and transactional. In short, unless you are absolutely in need of staying steps away from the airport for a very early flight—and are willing to pay a steep premium for that specific convenience—there are far better hotel options just a short drive from Bradley that offer more space, more comfort, and better value. The Sheraton at Bradley Airport does not live up to its price or brand reputation.
