Great sized room, well located and perfect for what we needed. Decor is good. No shared amenities and no onsite reception.

Great boutique hotel in a perfect location. You are within 10 minutes walking of The Long Walk, The Thames with the riverboats, the Theater, and so many good pubs. Windsor Castle and the Crooked House are one minute up the road. The hotel is right on High Street, a pedestrian only street with many, many restaurants and shops to choose from. If you want to see the Changing of the Guard, just roll out of bed and walk two minutes down the road. I did not eat their breakfast, but I thought the housekeeping staff were kind and thoughtful. My room felt huge and clean. There are several plugs for your phones etc, and my American adapter worked just fine. Just be forewarned that there is no elevator, and the stairs are steep. You have to walk down a little side alley to get to the hotel doorway, and if you check in after 5:30pm you need to telephone and wait for about 30 -45min for someone to arrive to check you in. I liked this hotel, and enjoyed my stay, but I think they need a sign at the street alley because this hotel is very hard to find. I walked up and down High Street before I finally asked another hotel where Goswell House was located.

Lovley rooms right in the centre of town

Bed comfy however must be about it, whole bedroom was a bit grubby and dirty, rubbish on top of the sofa, smears on the mirror, everywhere thick with dust including the bathroom, coffee room wasn't even cleaned with old pods in the machine from previous guests, fridge was dirty, for the price I paid it was pretty diabolical. Woken up by HKA banging on other doors. Cookies past their best before date. 9th April

Great central location. A very “do it yourself” stay with little staff help but room was big and clean.
