The check-in process of this hotel is a bit troublesome. You have to contact by email to get the instructions to enter, which is inconvenient. However, the cleanliness of the room is satisfactory, which makes the stay comfortable. However, after using the bathtub, my skin felt uncomfortable, which may be related to the water quality or detergent. The service staff is friendly and willing to help at any time, which is a plus. Overall, despite the cumbersome check-in process and the problem with the bathtub, the overall environment and service are still pleasant. If these minor problems can be improved, it will be a better choice.

Terrible service. Rarely anyone answers the phone, voicemails not returned. I made a mistake on dates and because of work commitments needed to cancel the reservation. I finally managed to talk to a person, advised about 1 week in advance that needed to cancel. Hotel declined to cancel my reservation, they charge me for the room, never returned my messages. Very poor customer service in my view, will not recommend this place.

We were in the UK for 2 weeks and stayed at a number of lovely places. This was not one of them. Pictures are deceiving. I think they were taken 20 years ago. The listing says there is parking. What it doesn't say is it costs £20 and is up the road and across the street. Not at all convenient if you have a lot of luggage, as we did. The rooms are very dated and the beds were small. The carpet looks old and worn and I suspect not terribly clean. The location, while central, is not somewhere I'd feel comfortable walking at night. The road noise is horrendous. As is the slamming of the front door. When I tried to call about the parking I got no reply and, when I followed the instructions to contact via WhatsApp, my message seemed to be blocked. Long story short, we saved the $20 parking and booked into a hotel. How anyone gives this place 5 stars is beyond me.

We loved the Charles house. We booked the Victoria room, which is ground floor and the largest room of a small 3 room house. self check in with a code to enter the house and your room which was great. French doors to patio, refrigerator, large comfy bed , plenty of outlets, extra large bathroom with tub-shower. Super soft towels and bed linens and pillows. Grocery store right across the street. Kettle and tea and coffee in room, but we did not get the breakfast that was available. we stocked up at the grocery store. A great location, about a ten min. Walk to Windsor Castle. Iron and ironing board. Other than a microwave it felt like our own apartment, it was really a large room with a dressing table and mirror, hair dryer. We also got to meet the housekeeper Michelle and she was so nice and helpful. The owner left a manual and phone number for cab company for a good price to the airport. Also price at the Charles House was excellent. Very reasonable for all you got. I would stay there again for sure and I only had one complaint and that was a strong chemical order when we first checked in from cleaning, but it went away when we opened the French doors for awhile. No air conditioning but it was Sept and cool anyway but there was a tower fan and also a space heater if needed. Also great wifi- super strong signal and high speed as well. Close to shopping and restaurants. Great pub nearby the King and Castle. Nice place to stay and very comfortable. Thanks Barbara.

Beautiful room, the victoria room spacious, very clean, comfortable beds, great bathroom spotless, lovely modern an clean. My daughter and I stayed recently for my sons wedding, couldnt of oicked better, central to windsor, everything within 5 or 10 min walk, co op shop opposite for eveyday needs, shopping centre just 10 mins walk awake. Honestly recomend to stay here reasonable price was why chosen, wasnt exoecting it to be so nice an comfortable, you wouldnt be dissapointed with a stay here , wether for visit friends family a great experience, definitely stay next year If could award higher would say definitely 10/10

Booked as this location looked good, room was a nice size but the pictures hides that this location needs a makeover, as carpets are worn and bathroom old and needs replacing. Don’t stay here if you’re after a quiet stay as very noisy in the early hours and late at night.
