The motel is across the highway from an interesting sculpture park. The price was reasonable. The room was very dark at night making sleep easier. The motel is right of the highway. Since I was bicycling to Lakefield, I wanted a motel on the south end of town. This cut off several miles of biking and crossing the town. This is the only motel on the south. Breakfast was very basic-orange juice, small boxes of Apple Jacks and Froot Loops, and a sampling of individually packaged pastries. If this isn't sufficient for you, there is a Hardees next door.

Thermostat on heater was broke so it never shut off, didn't know it until I woke up in the middle of the night roasting.

It was so cold in my room I ran the blow dryer for 20 minutes to help warm it up in there before taking a scalding hot shower. I slept with my pajamas on which I never do. I went to sleep with the heat on 85 degrees. I woke up at 3:30 am, finally warm enough to turn the heat down. Breakfast was cheap hostess donuts and no decaf coffee. This was the 2nd time in 3 weeks I've not enjoyed my stay. I gave it a second chance, never again!

Staff at counter was incredibly rude. We were charged extra for our pre teen child. The condition of the hotel for the price was ridiculous especially being charged extra for children. I do not recommend.

One bed did not look like the sheets had been changed, but they did give us new sheets so we changed them. Found a live ant in the bathroom. Mold in the bathtub and wall paper coming off in the bathroom. Looks like the floor was not clean by the edges of the room, dead bugs and spiderwebs were found.

Decent place for a single deer hunter in myself staying a couple nights very reasonably, it’s an outdated motel but clean & adequate for my purpose
