De lodge ligt 75 km boven Solitaire. Het laatste stuk (5 km) is over smal rotsachtig weggetje. Goede tussenstop vanuit Sesriem naar Swakopmund. Lodge met mooi charmant terras waar gegeten wordt. Eenvoudige huisjes. Prima. Geen airco. Waanzinnig uitzicht. Heerlijk rustig. Nieuwe uitbaters. Zeer vriendelijk. 4 stèren vanwege terras en uitzicht en rust.

Je moet er heel wat moeite voor doen om er te komen. Het ligt er prachtig en het uitzicht is de moeite waard. De cabin staat vrij en je kunt de prachtige bergen bewonderen vanaf je balkonnetje onder een afdakje. De sundowner is wat rondrijden en kijken naar de ondergaande zon met je eigen gekozen drankje en wat chipjes en kaas. Avondeten begint om 7. Het stond klaar toen we aankwamen lopen. Prima gekookt. Met een Salade en toetje. Er waren, toen wij er waren, drie stellen. 1 stel sliep op de kampsite. Ontbijt is om 8 uur. Yoghurt koffie sapje en een keuze voor je eieren met toast. Prima verblijf.
