After a long drive from North Wales to Longleat this was a great choice. Wonderful accommodation great food brilliant staff. Better than the advertisement suggests. Would have loved to stay longer so our daughter could have enjoyed all the activities

What a gorgeous place, booked 2 nights. The staff food establishment, utterly tip top. We checked out a day early though. You can’t control the temperature of your rooms. We had the Somerset suite it was so hot like mid summer with no air conditioning. We didn’t sleep well, the next days activity at longleat Safari we didn’t make pre booked tickets down the pan. We were all so tired we headed home. We couldn’t understand why our room was so hot the radiators were cold we had the window open all night in February, my wife, my son couldn’t sleep with the quilts over us. But that aside it was a gorgeous place, I don’t like to complain so we just checked out without saying anything. Maybe they might pick this review up and add some sort of temperature control, it was way to hot for us.

Excellent get away.
We had a 4 night stay. We regularly use Hunters Lodge as our runaway from home. Excent value. Home made food and puddings. Outstanding breakfast. Its clean and quite. Delightful staff. Its why we do back again and again.

Very pleasant, conveniently located hotel/inn. Clean and warm. Plenty of towels. Tea and coffee in room. Breakfast is a highlight.
