Wilmslow Lodge

We were over in Manchester to visit Lapland and with Wilmslow Lodge being just over 10 minutes drive away, it was the perfect location for us. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming and the whole place is of a high standard. We had a family room and it was very spacious with a very generously sized main bed which fit myself, my husband and our three year old with lots of room. The only downside was that the sofa bed was really uncomfortable, which could be an issue with more people! I do have to say that everything else was absolutely wonderful and we can’t thank the staff enough for finding my daughter’s comforter and posting it back to us. A very kind and appreciated gesture! Overall I’d highly recommend The Wilmslow Lodge, especially for those visiting Lapland Manchester.

Very good place if you need to visit someone and wanted to avoid the city. close to airport and near to train station where you can pick up the speed train.

Good rooms, with comfortable super-king bed. Kettle, tea and coffee supplied. Decent walk in shower. Good WiFi. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked element good, though scrambled eggs were just a block of roughly stirred, set egg. Buffet element very limited, poor choice. Proper coffee available, which was good. Didn't bother on the second morning. Annoying that we weren't advised that there was major roofing works going on. Scaffolding taking up several car park spaces. Workers literally throwing bits of rotting wood to the ground as we left. We were definitely glad to be leaving. We will stay again, but will eat elsewhere.
