Dreamers Bnb

We had a wonderful stay at Dreamers. The hostess Sherry reached out the day of our check-in to provide details upon our arrival. She was very accommodating and helpful with our requests, not to mention the breakfasts were delicious. We would stay there again and would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic bed and breakfast experience.

I picked this bnb specifically as the information I found said it provided a vegan breakfast. I booked before the property changed hands. I was a little concerned closer to my travel date as I hadn’t received info and was seeing online that the bnb was closed. This was the only part of my trip that caused me stress. I was traveling a long way to celebrate my birthday over the Memorial Day weekend. Thankfully I was able to contact the former owner and they reassured me. It would have been nice to get introduction info from the new owner before my trip. The new owner was very excited to accommodate my whole food plant based SOS diet and the food I had while at the bed and breakfast was fantastic. I enjoyed my time relaxing reading in the living room and on the porch and wandering around the historic downtown. The bnb was quiet and cozy. The number code locks on the doors took a bit to figure out.

A Dream Come True Although I was initially taken aback that the space was smaller than appeared online and that there was no in-room frig or coffee pot, I fell in love with the space. Upon entering Dreamers,I found the ambient music and aromatic scent soothing and inviting. Check in was quick and efficiently done via iPad until I was greeted by Oceana. She graciously brought in my bags, set them in the room, helped me put my refrigerated items in a mini frig designated by a magnet matching the shape on my room door. Communication via text was consistent and responsive. At no point did I feel as if I needed something and didn’t get it. The room itself was beautiful! I had not been sleeping well for over a month, but I immediately fell asleep as soon as I crawled between the covers, laying on a magically comfy mattress cover and firm pillows. The lighting was sparse and positioned throughout the room with minimalist yet artsy lamps. The ac was perfect but the retro mini fan was just as powerful. Also in the room was a diffuser with an aromatic essential oil named foe one of the Dreamers, Traveler. There was also a glass carafe of cool fresh water with 2 stemmed water glasses on a table in front of one of the windows near a comfy reading chair. The bathroom? OMG! Rainfall shower with bear claw tub. Knobs adjusted water flow: tub, shower, or handheld. The sink was marvelous. There were also short descriptions of accessories and the cost in case I wanted to purchase. All in all, I loved the Dreamer

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom tub was odd and the artistic decoration ok. Staff was largely absent and although they advertised breakfast, it virtually nonexistent.
