Baymont by Wyndham Wilmington

Poor Totally scam. Rooms are Not as their pictures at all. Room is filthy and bed is small. The place is not safe for kids. It’s non-refundable so not recommended booking online

This Baymont has been a good overnight visit for us waiting for our beach house to be available, with rooms that were passable, a nice breakfast and low pricing, but boy has most of that changed since last year. The price was still low, but the breakfast has been gutted, and our room experience was poor. Our 1st room had a toilet that barely flushed and after maintenance declared it fixed, which it wasn't, we got another room that still had weak flush issues but passable. A bottle of Mr. Clean for the staff in the rooms would help with just some basic things. It's a shame because it used to be an OK Quality Inn and was sold about 10 years ago and the new owners painted it, added luxury vinyl floor and kept it up to a decent level but we noticed it going downhill. Upon complaining I found out that there were new owners and I feel bad that the old owners dumped it on them doing no maintenance for a good while. New ownership (since May) said they are slowly but surely trying to fix it up. Only time will tell but as for our August trip we are staying in another hotel.

Very friendly and professional staff. New management is trying very hard to upgrade services and image to the standards you expect from Wyndham Hotels. I would say they are off to a good start. Clean eating area and rooms. Safe area for families and business worker friendly. 24 hr service desk. Free parking and breakfast. Pool open every day. Pet friendly. Great value for price.

Dirty place. Bathroom needs lots of work. Lint fire so lint in the pool and everywhere outside. Stickers on the floor. Spots on the ceiling that looked moldy. No shower curtain and hole in shower wall. Hair on the toilet and back of toilet wall unpainted.

This place was horrible. The room we stayed in was unclean. there were blood stains on the walls, toilet, counter space, and the floors. The room smelled like stale bleach and the floors were sticky. We heard banging on our door at 4am scaring all three of us and we noticed that a few hours before that our Do Not Disturb sign was missing. When our concerns were brought up to the staff they brushed it off and said the blood was just regular stains and the banging on our door didn't happen. If I could rate this place negative stars I would. Don't stay at this hotel. It wouldn't let me post the pictures of the blood but it was everywhere.

Room smelled terrible when heat was turned on. TV barely worked. Went to front desk on day 2 of my stay and requested new remote and wash cloths. The lady was extremely rude, wouldn’t give me a remote, said someone would bring cloths and never did.
