Room was a bit small for a king size bed and there was a leak by the bathroom toilet so we were relocated to a different room. So despite the relocation nuisance we were compensated a free night stay and some Bonvoy Marriott points. Pool area was very clean and the water was a nice temperature. The one bartender was especially nice and all of the other service people were very polite and cordial.

The hotel is in a great spot. Plenty of rest and things to do with family or alone. If you want some late night food get some wings from Lateef at the bistro downstairs at the hotel. He will try to help you best he can. He was very helpful trying to make my experience better.

Kendrick and Teanna went over and far above normal service to ensure I had the best possible experience. Will stay there every visit (monthly) because this stay was head and shoulders above others in area! Thanks both! See you again in 2 weeks!

I have never written a bad review for any establishment I've been to ...but this was very upsetting and handled very wrong! At check-in, I gave license plate information for 2 of my cars. After I checked out, I found a ticket on 1 of my cars for non-payment of parking. Gave the ticket to front desk, and was told "we'll take care of it". Called 2 days later and spoke to Grace, their GM to follow-up and was told I never gave them info for 2 cars, only 1. She wouldn't even give me her supervisor's name, said I have to call customer service. I did that and they were unable to assist me and told me that their Gen Mgr has final say. Really???!!!

Room was very clean and the bed slept comfortably, the location was perfect and had so many good options close by, valet is overpriced and not needed if you don’t mind walking a few feet to the parking garage Also, the breakfast was very good and well prepared, we would return to stay here again

We travel often & do not frequently stay with the Marriott brand. This hotel has changed our minds. Teanna provided excellent serive every time we visited the in house bar. She was so sweet & made sure we were well taken care of. Will recommend and stay here again when in the Wilmington area! 10/10!

Lateef Corbett went the extra mile for me this trip. I came back to the hotel after a long work day, just needed food, and grabbed something from the convenience area. He noticed, offered to make me actual food, and ensured I was taken care of. He didn’t have to do that, but he did, and I’m grateful. Stuff like that is what keeps us choosing this location to stay!

Stay has been exemplary. Booked after original reservations were made with Hampton a block away. Note Hampton key cards were not working two prior to arrival forcing each occupant to be let in by staff. That was unsettling but real issue we were not notified of issue until after we arrived. Courtyard has been excellent and taken care of us.
