Water Street Retreats

Amazing property, great value for the location and the view from my unit was amazing!

Parking was further than anticipated, the room key pad was confusing and locked us out immediately and we had to use the key on the table, luckily security was able to unlock our door for us so we could get ready and make it to our event on time. There was some damage to the bathroom cabinet towards the bottom when we arrived and stains on the bedroom carpet, clean other than that. Beautiful views, felt very secure, and in walking distance from everything we needed.

It was good… but not great. Overall the condo was very well maintained, very beautifully decorated… but to the detriment of comfort in some areas. The couch was very uncomfortable. You couldn’t see the TV from the couch so watching a movie in the evening was out of the question. The queen bedroom spa tub was not really clean and some of the jets didn’t work so it wasn’t worth using. The beds were not very comfortable. I especially took exception to the fact that there is a WINDOW in the master bathroom that looks out into the living room. So, I had to prop something up in the window to block it when taking a shower for privacy. It would be very easy for the owners to add a curtain or blind here. The Patio furniture on one side of the condo was pretty comfortable. Overall it was a nice place but I wouldn’t stay there if you plan on being in the property much. We were there for a festival so our time in the condo was very minimal. It was a nice touch that the property had some snacks and an ice machine. Overall, it just seemed like there was an issue of fashion over function.
