Old Red Mill Inn

During ski season, we decided to take a last minute trip, and we could only find lodging at the Old Red Mill Inn. While the staff was courteous, the property itself leaves much, much room for improvement. The only positive was that it was super inexpensive, so it could be an option for travelers on a tight budget who just need a basic, no-frills place to stay. Our room, which had two twin beds jammed in, was one of the smallest rooms I'd ever stayed in. In addition, our door and the walls of the room might have well been nonexistent as they let every single sound penetrate. In fact, we were awoken by an argument that nearly turned into a fight between two guests in the hallway outside our room. They were probably just rowdy college kids who'd had a few too many drinks, but to this day, I still can hear their shouts of "stop it, you're hurting him!" and "it's not my fault, it's the moneyed management!" Needless to say, we won't be returning to the "House of Raucous."
