Days Inn by Wyndham Wilmington/Brandywine

It did the job. My family I am were comfortable for the 3 day 2 night trip.

Terrible hotel never stay, the bed is smell and stinky and totally unsafe place like a motel. VERY IMPORTANT: they took US$ 50 deposit for no reason!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Close to Phila. Airport. Location is good, but facilities are old.

The images on the Internet were a lot more glamorous than it was in real life. It did not accurately represent what we saw in person. The grand pillars in the photos made it look much more luxurious than it was. They had the big trash dumpster container in the parking lot right in front of our room. When we arrived to our room, the TV was not working. They had to change us to a different room and had us waiting for 45 minutes. In the new room we had to request a toilet plunger because the toilet would not flush properly and would clog after every use. They said they would bring the plunger but after an hour, we had to go down and get it ourselves. Finally, when we got to sleep, there was a horrendous smell of armpit on the pillows… Not all of them were reeking, but we were the unfortunates to lay our heads on such a stench. Trust me, we just showered so it wasn’t our pits. At least, we have to say that the mattresses were good and the AC was quite powerful. The breakfast was basic to be honest and the custodian was micromanaging everyone… including the toaster. Apparently we’re not allowed to put crumbs in the toaster… All in all we expected much more for the price.

The staff at this property are nice and efficient and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. Except the bathroom vent, which didn't appear to do anything, so a hot shower heats up the room, which wouldn't matter, except the curtains are too long and cover the air conditioner. My quick fix was a towel jammed under the curtains to keep them out of the air conditioner, which then blew on my face as I slept. Basic, no-frills, except a nice breakfast. Kinda tight parking; I think we took the last spot. Near a lot of restaurants and a mall, churches, gas, etc. I felt safe in this location, which is a good thing in Wilmington. Decent, but maybe a little pricey for what you get.
