Courtyard Wilmington Downtown

Staff were accommodating of a late check in, and did everything they could to make us comfortable. There were computer issues that blocked checking in immediately, but they still let us get settled before finishing our check-in and helped get some little extras that made the stay.

Disappointing to walk in a room that looked worn to see a big dirty stained chair, as well as a carpet that was snagged. The toilet also didn't flush well. While the room had a coffee pot , there was only decaf coffee pods The door to the refrigerator was also broken! Bottom line it certainly did not feel like what you expect with Marriott quality!

Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff are great to work with. They made sure that everything was great. I traveled solo in a unfilmliar town where I had never been before so was worried, ended up feeling safe and secure. Any female would have the same

We were on the hotel property for less than 9 hours. Just passing through on the way to NYC. This was the truly worst courtyard I’ve ever stayed at. The room was filthy dirty- red stains on the carpet, toothpaste on the wall, smears all over the headboard. The furniture was old, dingy, and greasy. I do not think they have updated the property in at least 15 years. Staff were not pleasant. The location was scary. I didn’t sleep more than 3 hours. The place is scary. I couldn’t leave soon enough, and I would never go back. Consider yourself forewarned.

Long story short, I went to visit a friend and last minute her husband decided she couldn’t have guests stay with them. So I got a room here. I was so upset that I ended up drinking all night at The Bistro Bar! The bartender, Samantha turned my whole trip around. She was so funny and sweet, that I forgot that I was even upset! She also makes a mean dirty Tito’s martini! Give this girl a raise!!!

The staff and Management at Wilmington Downtown Marriott are excellent. My wife accompanied me on a two day business trip and while I was attending to my meetings, the professionals at the Marriott ensure that she was comfortable at the facility and gracious in providing information about the City. We stayed in Willington for a wedding. The hotel was clean, and conveniently located to the hotel venue. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for your downtown Willmington needs. Also has a quaint bistro inside for your morning coffee or late night snack.

Great location and architecture. Staff was on-point. Parking was very self explanatory and easy to validate. The design and comfort of the room was very nice as well as the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a cute bistro off the lobby.
