Top notch! First impression: welcoming. Even though instructions were sent in advance, Kenneth was there at the front door to greet us on arrival, to teach us how to unlock the door. Second impression: stepping inside I immediately noticed how nice the space smells! I especially appreciated the game room, and cozy library where, after helping myself to the available hot tea and cookies, I curled up under a throw on the sofa, and read. As I had requested, plant based yogurt was made available for my breakfast. And, when I left my nightgown behind in the Michael Suite, Kenneth mailed it to me. (I have stayed in quite a few Inns, and have never experienced this level of consideration, and personal service.)

A beautiful, well-kept mansion with an excellent, friendly innkeeper. Our stay in the Rafael Room was the nicest stay we've ever had at a B&B. Will not hesitate to return to this establishment.

Once again Kenneth has excelled himself as the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. I appreciated the addition of the coffee machine and microwave outside my room. I stayed in the Raphael room for the second time. It is absolutely gorgeous and ticks all the boxes I need for a very comfortable stay. This is my fifth stay and second one since Kenneth took over. Best accommodation in Lancaster. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Excellent, beautiful property !
Excellent property, lovely and complete breakfast. Service was superior. A little warm upstairs and also rooms towards front will experience road noise.
