nser Aufenthalt im Hotel Willingen war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter waren herausragend, sie haben uns jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend betreut. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und bot eine gute Auswahl, auch wenn wir uns mehr Abwechslung bei den Pancakes und frischen Croissants gewünscht hätten. Der große Frühstückssaal wirkte leider etwas kühler, und das Wurstangebot könnte durch eine größere Käseauswahl ergänzt werden. Der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad und Schwimmbad hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Besonders gefallen hat uns die großzügige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Einziger Nachteil war, dass Kinder in der Sauna nicht erlaubt waren – hier würden wir uns wünschen, dass es spezielle Zeiten für Familien gibt. Das Schwimmbad war ausreichend groß, selbst wenn viele Gäste gleichzeitig dort waren. Allerdings finden wir es überflüssig, dass man für den Whirlpool extra bezahlen muss. Trotz kleinerer Verbesserungsvorschläge haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir würden das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!“

We stayed for three nights! We had a great room, we enjoyed the breakfast and the location of the hotel was perfect. We also had dinner one night. The portions are big, but in my opinion the food here was not really special. Price/quality was fine. However the staff was really nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

For a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room with adjoining balcony whereby cigarette smoke entered the room. Breakfast was good but staff were clearly not well trained. We like the complimentary waffles provided during our stay, but only when we step into restaurant and the staff asked if we’d like some. During check in, this info was communicated to the guest before us but not too us. Very inconsistent.
