Wow, what a holiday, we will never forget. Rooms were spacious and air conditioning was a life saver. We had a problem with one of the rooms and the air conditioning which was dealt with really quickly. Food was superb and would rate 10/10. Amazing choice every evening in the buffet as well as selection of other restaurants you can book. Theodore Daisy was an exceptional server who made my husband and I amazing coffee every morning. His smiley face and sunny deposition was the perfect start to the day. Pools were clean and well maintained. We tried pickleball a couple of times and the mini golf was fun! I would recommend The Verandah and will definitely be going back. The only thing I would say is that there were several occasions when there were no towels by the pool and I think an ice cream shop/station would be a good addition to the resort. Thanks Antigua, we’ve had the best time x

Having read the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor we were cautiously optimistic. Upon arrival and check-in, our optimism quickly dwindled. The front desk staff was less than welcoming and seemed annoyed by our arrival, providing rapid fire instructions and information with little patience. That being said, during the rest of our stay, the remaining staff deserve all the kudos for making our stay tolerable. You can tell that the majority of the staff try really hard to make the guests happy. However, a well-intention staff cannot overcome poor management. It is clear that the resort is poorly managed. From the lack of pool and beach towels to the hit-or-miss food service and drink quality, certain aspects of hospitality management are sorely lacking. The room, although spacious, had minimal appeal and stained cushions on most of the furnishings. For the amount of money spent, this resort is operating below its price point.

We went in July so it was offseason. We had no trouble getting a seat at the pool or beach ever. The weather was great & our 2 bedroom pool villa was a perfect set up for our 2 adults and 2 college aged adults. The food was good for an all inclusive. We LOVED "LCD The Band," who was their Monday night entertainment. Best night of our trip! They put on a great show! The grounds are really beautiful and the staff were friendly. As a frequent beach traveler, my feedback would be they need pool drink service, to stock towels more often, widen the bar drink menu, leave the gift shop open later--- just minor tweaks for an improved experience. 4.2/5 * for me. I would return!

A lovely hotel with spacious rooms and a chilled vibe. We stayed here for one night before boarding a cruise the next day so didn't get chance to experience all that the hotel had. That said, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was evident from start to finish. The pool looked lovely. Drinks were strong. Plenty of entertainment but not a raucous place. Beaches were lovely and the starfilled sky magical. The resort is quite spread out so may be more difficult for those with mobility impairment but plenty of regular buggies to transport guests where they needs to go.

Visited with our children and their partners to celebrate a special birthday and had a very wonderful stay. Great facilities, 2 lovely beaches, and lots of activities to keep everyone occupied - from sailing to padel, crazy golf, paddle boards and beach games - we tried them all. Lovely large spacious rooms, well stocked with toiletries and fresh towels. So lovely to watch the herons diving for their breakfast as we worked our way through the cocktail menu at the beach bar. Easy to nip over to the sister resort for the day. Organised our own trip to English Harbour for a late lunch on Sunday before hopping in a taxi to Shirley Heights to watch the sun go down and dance the night away. The band there was great, as we're the steel bands. Not to be missed. The staff were good fun, and appreciated being treated with respect. All in all, we had the best time.

An amazing trip! I had to get used to island time coming from the hustle and bustle. First off, favorite party Sunday with the band such fun! Many activities to do. Main pool fun, quiet pool relaxing. There is something for everyone. Food - ok but workers amazing! Theodore breakfast and lunch - the best employee will remember your name! Always a smile! Great service above and beyond! Karkel is amazing- personality, detail - he was working in Portafino and Sale and tales! An unforgettable smile, service beyond the norm! Leon- best bartender- great service above and beyond Marina- “next” egg station amazing- non stop hard working awesome!!! LENNY we loved your entertaining personality and awesome tours on the HOBIE taking time to show us the turtle! 🐢 You are one of a kind at the resort! Super Mario thanks for hooking us up on the paddle board and kayak! DJ R awesome entertainment! You all went above and beyond for our trip!

My wife and I went to The Verandah Resort in Antigua July 1st-July 5th and I must say the beauty of the grounds,and the water the entire scenery was amazing which made it easy to relax, although it was hot 🔥, the constant breeze from the ocean was soothing, Verandah is more of a Villa so like picture yourself living in a house but you hv neighbors in a 6,000 acre resort community which was different but it was enjoyable, the staff went above and beyond accommodating us and we met the DUTY MANAGER PATRICIA who had the most sincere truly honest best pleasant personality which every time we walked past her she would stop and talk and made sure we didn't want for nothing, Our service driver Tristan was the BEST, overall the entire stall and grounds keepers all were the BEST, On Wednesdays they hv an All White Beach Party, and on Fridays its a Pink pool party and the both are a Caribbean style buffet spread with full bar and enjoyable entertainment. Thank you Verandah Resort for a much needed getaway experience

We are leaving our holiday here today after 10 nights and we have had an amazing time and are very sad to be going home! The food, location, resort and facilities are fantastic. The upkeep and maintenance are always being done with staff always around gardening, painting etc. The rooms are beautiful and air conditioning is very good and a welcome relief! Activities were great and not forced upon you, only if you wanted to take part. Huge effort goes into the evening events, like the beach party etc. The only downsides for us were some of the scheduled activities didn't take place because of the laidback approach and staff were mostly lovely but some of them were not particularly friendly. However this was very minor in comparison to the overall experience and does not change our 5 star review. We would most definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The hotel itself is beautiful and very spacious, so even when it was busy, it never felt crowded. The property was well-maintained and clean, which made the whole experience relaxing. The food at the restaurants was top-notch — every meal we had was delicious, with plenty of variety. One of my favorite spots on the property was the Café, which had great coffee and some really nice shakes that we enjoyed daily. The entertainment in the evenings was very good, with something different happening every night to keep guests engaged. The pool activities were fun too, although they were a bit limited, and not everything on the schedule actually took place — but what they did offer, we enjoyed. Another highlight was that we were able to visit the sister resort without any extra charges, which gave us even more options for food, relaxation, and exploring. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider returning! Some of the people I need to SHOUT-OUT: Cassy at the Cafe; Joshua at the Pizzeria - the PIZZA was on point- Rohana at sails and Tails -Marsha a great Bartender that took great care of us- Devin -From the Beach and Pool Staff- Shanisha- Guest services - Felicia at Portofino was great as well-I am sure there are a couple more but overall I gave this place an 8 out of 10
