Williamstown Motel

We had a great weekend at the Williamstown Motel (we took six rooms for our group). The rooms were a bit old but very clean. Rocky was the best host! He was checking in with us and getting anything we needed (from ice to umbrellas). Location was great for other amenities. I highly recommend staying at the Williamstown Motel when you are in the area.

Rocky our host was most helpful in climatizing our room prior to our arrival and subsequent to our check ourt - in keeping our bags in store and allowing us to change into our motorcycle rain clothes prior to us departing the motel in unfair weather. College tour Mom and son from overseas, super nice Rocki gave us two king-size beds and generously shared best restaurants around. Easy drop off and check out. Spotlessly clean, great place to stay.

Nestled in beautiful Williamstown, MA, this family-owned motel is a gem. Not only is the hospitality of the owners, Rocky and Naj Ghouse, beyond exemplary, the rooms, while not elaborate, are spotlessly clean and maintained. It’s all in the details. I stayed for eight days, and had time to observe. The hosts greet you at the front desk with chilled bottled water. The room air conditioning is on when you arrive, which was especially appreciated as it was a hot day. The ample towels in the bathroom are not just placed on the rack, but arranged in a beautiful fan-shaped folded pattern. A small but important note concerning the towels: although my stay included near 100 degree weather, the towels remained laundry-fresh. No, they didn’t have that overpowering chlorine bleach odor, but must be sanitized in some way. That may not sound like a big deal, but it is impressive nonetheless if you’ve stayed in as many motels/hotels as I have and had to deal with musty towels, even in luxury hotels. The housekeeping staff was friendly and courteous. Although I didn’t have many questions (primarily because Rocky was so thorough and attentive in his knowledge of the area when I checked in) any I did have were promptly answered. Needless to say, I would highly recommend the Williamstown Motel to anyone staying in the area, just for a few nights or longer, solo or with a family. It is very reasonably priced and only a short drive to Bennington, Vermont and sections of New York State. A big thank you Rocky and Naj!

We were warmly greeted and made to feel right at home in this clean and comfortable motel. The owners live on site and were helpful in recommending a number of different restaurants in town for dinner. A good choice for an overnight stay in Williamstown!
