Vacation Village at Williamsburg

Location: Central to major attractions and nearby restaurants/shopping areas.

As an owner of a timeshare, we have to pay maintenance fees every year for the up keep of our properties. I would like my money back! This property was not up to par at all. The unit my family stayed in was spacious but it smelled like urine and must when we walked in, the floors were filthy! We went into this unit cleaning and vacuuming the dining room, living room and both bathrooms. The one toilet in the master bath smelled like urine the whole week despite us cleaning it. The toilet in the guest bath ran continuously. The dishes were dirty and the dishwasher leaked all over the floor. We had to dry our clothes for more than an hour for them to dry. The family in upper unit had small children who ran for hours beginning at 4am until 9pm the entire week, so we did not sleep. There was no extra bedding for the pull out couch or extra toilet paper for the bathrooms. When we asked member services for the extra bedding, towels and toilet paper, staff seemed irritated and not friendly. The room was either too cold or too hot, no in between. There is only adult swimming between 9a-10a then the kids are there until the pool closes. We didn't mind the kids but there was a mother who encouraged her daughter to jump in the pool and splash so she could catch her right next to me. We did get massages and Mau was great! Overall I would not stay here again.

Overall we had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were equipped with all the accommodations from home (kitchen, refrigerator, coffee pot, blender, living-room, washer/dryer, etc). The beds were a little stiff for my preference however the staff can provide a foam topper if needed. The large outdoor pool, outdoor kid pool, indoor pool and indoor hot-tub was clean and well kept. A great place to stay.
