Nice location and units. Missing out on the level of cleanliness and lack of kitchen necessities, and DVD players not working. Also quite surprised on our last day when cleaning staff just walked in a half hour before check out time.

Resort is close to shopping, parks and entertainment. The units are dated and not maintained. Appliances did not work, shower had a large crack by the drain the cut the bottoms of your feet, carpet was in poor condition. Check in / receptionist staff lacked customer service skills and are generally unfriendly.

The village was perfect base location to visit Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg. Loved Uncle Russ seafood and italian restaurant right around the corner! Would stay here again.

Overall well kept and neat area. BUT, don't ask your patrons to gather linens, wash dishes and take the trash out tp the dumpster.

Recommend staying at the Colonies at Williamsburg, Vacation Village at Williamsburg is not maintained very well and older units. Both are managed by same group but the timeshare contract sales money is spent on the Colonies area and grounds to promote sales. Both cost the same to stay at,,,so stay at the Colonies !

Outdated resort with potential. Great location but needs a good update and detail cleaning. Staff was scarce. Furniture outdated and Beds not comfortable.

We stayed in a one bedroom which actually ended up being a two bedroom. Wonderful place. I saw some reviews regarding small rooms. Not the case. Pleny of room. The partial kitchen was pretty much a full kitchen minus an oven. Full size fridge and diswasher along with a dual induction hot plate. Nice that there a two pools. One inside and one out. Plenty of pickleball, tennis, basketball, ping pong equipment at pool for use. Only negative was that the hot tube jets were pretty weak and that;s just being petty. In a great location. 5-10 minutes from everything.
