Willemstad Punda Hotels

This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I was very satisfied and would recommend. It's about a 5 mins walk from restaurants, shops and night life. Felt safe to walk in this area at night. Check-in with Armandy was swift and pleasant. Very knowledgeable about the area and eager to assist. The room was clean and housekeeping was very accessible, friendly and always willing to assist. However the bed was very soft. I think it's about time the hotel replace the mattress. There is a mini fridge in the room but there isn't a microwave. The staff offered to reheat my food but they should have a microwave in the room for convenience. The hotel arranged transportation to the Sambil mall for $20USD (one-way) as well as hotel to the airport for $30USD. This was much better than the airport taxi that charged $45USD (airport to hotel). Overall an excellent experience with Elements hotel and shops.

Friends compared many restaurants and finally decided that its location is very good, it is within walking distance to important attractions, nearby is the pier where cruise ships disembark, sightseeing facilities are available, transportation is very good, about 20 minutes drive from the airport, breakfast is a simple buffet style, But cost-effective. Because it is in the equatorial region, there is no hot water after staying in a few hotels, maybe these tropical countries are like this!
