This is a delightful place in the heart of green countryside, very quiet where chirping birds wake you up in the morning. Ideal for relaxation. Madeleine and Xavier, the owners, will always go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable: not only will they cook and serve typical dishes but they will also advise you on where to go and what to see in their beautiful region. I fully recommend this country inn.

Willieman is a beautiful village. The accommodation was clean with enough space for 5. The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. There is not much “to do” in Willieman but if your travels lead you there, would highly recommend this place to stay.

In deze B&B nu voor de t****e keer. De eerste keer, zo’n twee jaar geleden, was de aankomst redelijk ... men was nog aan het verbouwen maar nu, de t****e keer, was het een nog grotere bouwplaats met lege flessen overal, bouwzeilen, bouwmaterialen, loshangende lampen en rommel. De ontvangst was ook nogal rommelig ... er was niemand aanwezig en na kloppen op de deur heeft de zoon z'n vader opgezocht die met iets anders bezig was. Uiteindelijk kwam de vader en begon druk te bellen. (in de bevestigingsmail stond aankomst na 15.00 uur en wij waren er rond 16.00 uur) en zei dat we na 17.00 uur zouden komen. We konden onze koffers wel in de kamer zetten en kregen een lijstje voor het ontbijt (€.6,50 of €.13,50) Ik bestelde van allebei 1. Het ontbijt (voor €.20,00 dus) bestond uit 1 plakje ham, 1 klein stukje brie, een kannetje koffie en twee roereieren. Verder 2 croissants, 1 chocobroodje, wat stokbrood en geen boter en geen jam. De kamer was klein en rook een beetje muf. Het bed 140x190 was aan de krappe kant en de tv (met uiteraard alleen Franse zenders) had het formaat van een grote postzegel. De WiFi-code kregen we pas toen ik er om vroeg. Al met al vooralsnog niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
