Days Inn by Wyndham Wilkes Barre

Went to support my son for his birthday! He lives there we live 2 hours away. We normally stay elsewhere, however, we choose to stay at the Days because of their location and fair price being as though we're putting our son through college ☺️. Hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's so clean and peaceful once you're a guest there. No noise, no barking dogs, not smoke smell, etc. I really rather stay here from now on! Staff was friendly, and i felt safe and at ease.

Live and learn. I made my reservation AFTER midnight, and that means that it reserved the room for the following day. When I got to the hotel, they couldn't check me in because I was supposed to call their reservation line and do it over the phone. Who knew? I didn't. However, the night clerk made a new reservation for that night (at a different price, but it wasn't too different), and cancelled the following night's reservation. It was good of him. He also explained the process so I wouldn't make that mistake in the future. I guess Wyndham reservations doesn't bother to let you know that in the app. Or maybe it's in the fine print and I missed it. Anyway, if you're reading this, you have been warned. LOL

The hotel was easy to find on a major road. But the surrounding was left out… dead Shopping Mall across the street. Tall grass growing around shops near hotel. But it’s clean. Easy checkin, good staff. But a musty smell like humidity ( must be area). Newly made free parking lot. And 30 sec from IHOP. Breakfast simple and filling.

Clean, spacious room (one king bed) had everything I required. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was I would prefer brighter lighting in the bathroom; it was rather dim. Very reasonable price included basic breakfast. Clean and quiet.

The only concern was breakfast doesn’t start until 6:30 AM would be nice if it started a little earlier

This is my go to hotel. Staff is great and the rooms are clean
