The Sea Gypsy

This is an old building and the rooms look tired and are in need of refurbishing. The cleanliness was below the standard expected for somewhere in this price bracket. It was very noisy and we were unable to sleep even with ear plugs. Henry the owner was very helpful and attentive, hence the two stars.

Don't bother wasting your money. If you are looking to stay at a B&B with musky smelling rooms, dirty carpets and tile and old linens and towels that desperately need replacement.... this is the place to go. We rented 2 rooms for an overnight stay to see our granddaughter in a cheer competition. We thought we were getting a suite, what a joke. We were also told that there would be an upcharge for breakfast. Believe me, we wouldn't have eaten there even if it was offered. Had we had someplace else to go to we would never have stayed. This place is old and unacceptable.

Nice place to stay for vacation It's a nice and quiet place to stay, and close to boardwalk. The host provides bikes and beach accessories. The staff are very nice and addressed our needs.

Feels like home Absolutely loved our room. It was like a home away from home from a past life decorated with cool antiques. We even had a friendly cat come chill with us on our patio whenever we went outside. Very welcoming atmosphere but not overbearing at all. I love how all of the rooms are different too. We are planning another trip and staying in another room.

Everything was outstanding, great for our little family, extremely clean. A time capsule away from the stresses of the world.

A nice bed and breakfast they was close to the boardwalk and eateries. We were on the third floor with no elevator. I would recommend asking for a room closer to the floor level. Otherwise great friendly staff and lovely rooms.
