Before you decide to staying at this place, consider other hotels which are cheaper with better confort, with a reception and own bathroom in each room and probably a more professional response in case of issues. The water tap in our room only gave hot water so we couldn’t brush our teeth nor wash our hands the first night. However, it was repaired on the next day. Before the repair of the tap, when I asked for a room change the management refused because all rooms were booked out. However, in contrast, during our 3 nights stay we saw every morning open doors with a turnover of several fully cleaned empty rooms. Therefore the reason to refuse our request for a room change was visibly not justifiable as it is also proven by the fact that we initially had room 8 announced by e-mail and WhatsApp prior our arrival to be changed to room number 4 where we had to stay 3 nights after arrival. In contrast to other hotels in Germany where we stayed in, in case of a problem a room change is no issue at all. For this reason, I will not return again to Business Hostel One in Wiesbaden. Therefore, only 1 out of 5 for this evaluation as this matters a lot. Concerning the photos on the website, they do not reflect all the reality such as broken wall paint in some corners of our room. Sonority is mediocre and you can hear speaking your neighbours during the night time in spite of all their efforts to avoid noise. Windows do not have full blinds nor curtains and it is difficult to have a good sleep with the city lights and day light penetrating through the blinds and in the absence of curtains. Mattresses are a bit too soft and you risks backache if you stay longer than a night, therefore I would disadvise this hostel for a longterm stay in case if you have a back issue. Good points: rooms are well cleaned, the central location in Wiesbaden down town is an advantage, the kitchen gives you the possibility for cooking on your own, friendly maintenance staff.
