Hôtel très bien situé, juste à côté du centre-ville. Le point fort est le personnel qui est fort serviable. Dès l’arrivée, les bagages sont pris en charge et la voiture garée au parking. A la réception les sourires des réceptionnistes et du concierge vous accueillent. Une chambre spacieuse et propre vous attend, il ne reste qu’à découvrir la piscine thermale au dernier étage. Une belle curiosité assortie d’un solarium avec vue sur la ville. La literie de qualité vous assure une nuit confortable. Ensuite le petit déjeuner vous accueille en salle ou en terrasse. Le choix est vaste et le personnel à votre écoute pour les boissons ou le choix de cuisson des œufs. Une voie de progrès : au petit déjeuner : les confitures sont servies dans des petits pots en verre et le miel est d’origine mondiale. J’apprécierai le choix de confitures bio et/ou artisanales et du miel d’origine allemande (curieusement la boutique de l’hôtel en propose ! ). Le parking à 39 euros la nuit me semble excessif, même si ceci est souvent la norme dans l’hôtellerie de centre-ville. En conclusion, un très bel établissement avec beaucoup de points forts. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. J’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Mal wieder im NH gewesen. Leider schon am Empfang ein faux pas. Die Mitarbeiterin sagte lustlos "Willkommen zuurück", Unterschrift und Schlüssel, Zimmer 456. Frühstück von.... Der Concierge rief mir noch nach "Schönen Aufenthalt". Übrigens der beste Mann am Empfang! Ich war früher immer im vorderen Gebäudetrakt, daher ging ich zu den vorderen Aufzügen. Dumm nur, dass in der 4. Etage kein Übergang vom vorderen zum hinteren Teil besteht. Ich irrte minutenlang mit Gepäck umher. Bis mich ein room-service Mitarbeiter aufklärte. Wieder zurück zur Rezeption und den anderen Auzug nehmen. Die Mitarbeiterin am Empfang sah vorher, dass ich zum falchen Aufzug ging. Kein Wort von Ihr. KATASTROHE für ein 5-Sterne Haus. Restaurant Orangerie. Ich bestellte ein Getränk mit der Bitte um Buchung aufs Zimmer. Als ich ging, rannte mir der Servicleiter bis zum Aufzug nach (!), um nach der Zimmernummer zu fragen... Das darf nicht passieren in einem der "leading hotels of the world". Am nächsten Abend wurde ich auf der Terrasse des Resraturants gar nicht bedient! Nach 20 MInten bin ich gegangen. Habe das aber mit dem Service Chef am nächsten Tag geklärt. Überigens beim Frühstück war keiner am Desk, wie lange soll ich warten? Daher kein "Guten Morgen", und keine Platzzuweisung. Was ist aus dem NH geworden?

Waren zum wiederholten Male im Nassauer Hof, früher das Hotel am Platz. Gehört offensichtlich immer noch zur Kette der führenden Hotels der Welt. Allerdings scheint das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein abbröckeln der Farbe an den Fenstern, herausfallender Fenster Kit, sich ablösende Tapeten in den Fluren, zerschlissene Teppiche, das Relikt eine Raucherbar, die das ganze Foyer des Hotels mit kalten Rauch durchzieht, ein absolutes no go für mich, zumal es als Ersatz für die Nichtraucher keine adäquate zweite Bar gibt. Der Service unaufdringlich aber komplett, wie es sich für ein Luxushotel gehört, allerdings auch zweimal fehlender Abendservice auf den Zimmern bei drei Aufenthalten. Das Frühstück absolut okay, das Personal insgesamt sehr freundlich aber andere fünf Sterne Hotels haben in den letzten Jahren mehr getan. Schade!

Wir lieben die alten, stilvollen Grand Hotels, auch wenn die Technik auf den Zimmern nicht auf dem neuesten Stand ist. Aber sie sollten doch in einem ordentlichen, renovierten Zustand sein. Schon der Weg durch den Gang auf der Suche nach unserem Zimmer war begleitet von einem penetrant muffigen Geruch. Nach dem öffnen der Tür hat uns fast der Schlag getroffen, so modrig hat es gestunken. Wir sind scheinbar in einem Lost Place abgestiegen. Die herbeigerufene Hausdame hat das in einem Sekundenbruchteil auch festgestellt. Scheinbar kam sie zum ersten Mal in dieses Zimmer. Ein Wechsel war leider nicht möglich, da im Haus die wenigen Zimmer mit Dusche ausgebucht waren. Aber fraglich, ob es viel geholfen hätte. So verbrachten wir die kalte Nacht bei geöffneten Fenstern in unserem Deluxe-Zimmer. Und sicher zum letzten Mal. Auch den Mitarbeitern und der Direktion kann sowas nicht entgehen. Komplette Ignoranz.

Das Hotel liegt erstklassig direkt an der Wilhelmstraße und gegenüber Oper/ Kurpark fußläufig angebunden an zahlreiche Geschäfte, Restaurants und Cafés. Das Personal ist unglaublich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen! Insgesamt fühlt man sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt als Wiesbaden und der Nassauer Hof sicher eine zentrale Luxusgröße darstellt haben. Ein bisschen Tradition und Grande Hotel Flair sind bis heute auch geblieben, wenngleich alles ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das merkt man am meisten am Renovierungsstau der Zimmer: Teppichböden, fehlende USB Steckerleiste, eine Dusche mit Einstieg in der Badewanne und für ein Paar nur ein einzelner old school Zimmerschlüssel zum Öffnen und Sperren der Tür sind leider unpraktisch und auch nicht mehr wirklich zeitgemäß. Das Essen und Trinken ist jedoch von hoher Qualität und tollem Service. Das Frühstück ist ein Highlight des Tages und das Abendessen in der wunderschönen Orangerie ebenfalls. Wer sich also einfach mal verwöhnen lassen möchte und über ein paar altmodische Dinge hinweg sehen kann, der ist im Nassauer Hotel sehr gut aufgehoben. Ich würde jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Wir waren (mal wieder) in der Bar des Hotels. Wie immer tolles Ambiente, empathischer Service und sehr gute Cocktails. Natürlich durfte die obligatorische Zigarre nicht fehlen. Toll, dass man hier diesem Genuss nachgehen kann. Der sehr gute Pianospieler rundete den Abend ab. Fazit: weiterhin eine ‚der Bars‘ in der Spitzenhotellerie Deutschlands und eine ganz klare Empfehlung für einen schönen Abend in geselliger Runde.
