Los Viajeros Inn

We had never stayed at this motel, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were both friendly and helpful, and the room was large and nicely refurbished. We had a two-queen bedroom with an armchair (I believe the king rooms have a small couch), a large desk, and a luggage table. The bathroom was sparkling clean, and while cramped, the vanity is outside of the shower and toilet, which is nice when two are getting ready. There were plenty of fluffy towels along with nice tubes of toiletries. We didn't use the breakfast coupon as we needed to get on the road, but guests can pick up their coupons the morning of departure, and they are valid for two different "value" breakfasts. The staff warned us, though, that despite their efforts, the restaurant will charge for drinks, including coffee, but there is a Keurig in the room and coffee is available in the lobby. The grounds are lovely, and we were excited to have a patio (all rooms face the lawn/pool courtyard and have a patio or balcony) — that is, until we tried to sit outside and realized smoking was permitted, as a lidded ashtray was on the table, complete with some leftover butts. Then we noticed a guest was smoking above us, and we had to go inside and close the door to escape the smoke. I'm not sure we'll stay there again, as it's frustrating to have to keep our doors closed to prevent smoke from coming inside the room. That's the reason I dropped the rating to 3 stars instead of 5. Other than that, it's a great place.

Give yourself a treat This is a beautiful place to stay. There's a big grassy area near the pool that is on the inside of the complex. The rooms are spacious, lead out to the pool area. It was quiet. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast vouchers for the Denny's next store. It was a treat to stay here.

Clean We always stay here once a year when in Wickenburg. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. All rooms face the pool and windows are thick enough to keep out even the late night fun noise.

Staff was great. Pool and jacuzzi were warm and clean. Property was very quiet.
